This company doesn't even answer their phone and then they allow people to write reviews on their site that are trying to scam you with their inventory. Even the BBB & Google took the negative review off because we refused to do the move for this customer who lied on their inventory form. Do not use this company, especially when they do not return calls

I have attempted to leave a review of Gold Standard Moving and Storage with My Moving Reviews 7 times. The reviews post but are taken down 5 minutes after notification that my review is active. My review is not flattering but it's not vulger or rude. It's simply the negative truth about Gold Standard Moving. My Moving Reviews must be a Gold Standard filter. Gold Standard is a bait and switch broker that will low ball your quote to get your business then fail to stand by their quote. $4700 inventory quote became $9700 cost when the carrier got loaded. I actually reduced my inventory on the day of the move by 1 bedroom and 1 dining room or the cost would have been even more. Attempts to reconcile inventory and bill of lading with Gold Standard to justify the up charge completely stonewalled by customer service. Avoid both of these companies unless you are a masochist. FAIR WARNING.
