GardynReviews of mygardyn.com

I love the simplicity of use and the joy of having tasty and sustainable food consistently at my fingertips. The design is nice and sleek and it is easy to use thanks to Kelby. For nearly a year now, Gardyn has been as much part of our daily meals as is has been part of the conversation !

This product was initially really frustrating. This set up was horrible. Instructions weren’t good and it wouldn’t connect. Customer support stood me up on my call I set up to set help. Then I wanted to return Bc I was so angry at that point.. however- they said it would be 80 buck + plus the cost of anything that wasn’t in new pristine condition AND in original packaging!! And it would be completely at their discretion as to what that was! Being that I already put the thing together and tossed the packaging, I felt was basically being held hostage into keeping the thing. Also, customer support was super rigid and unhelpful in all this. They have also reach out at least 5 times for feedback and I’ve given it every time, but there is no indication anything was taken into account. Now on to the membership- no worth it at all. They send you load of new seed pods as a way to justify the cost but you simply can’t use them so they just pile up. The kelby service is maybe worth 5 bucks a month. You can 100% do without it and just buy the seeds as you need it. I am giving 2 stars because the product itself is pretty cool and once it’s set up it works well and it’s fun to have. The complete lack of understanding of customer service, horrendous hostage keeping return policy, over priced subscription, and constant ask for unimplemented feedback is what gives the company bad name.

I’m very happy with my Gardyn. I’ve had very few issues, but when I do I find their customer service very responsive. My favorite thing is my little boys picking things off the Gardyn to eat. I have so many peas right now, it’s fantastic! I garden a lot outside, but I love this controlled indoor environment for year round growing.

GARDYN IS THE GREATEST! Honestly, this has been the best purchase I've made. As someone with a chronic "black thumb" who lives in a concrete jungle, I gave up on having my own edible garden. However, this device makes it so easy especially with the "Kelby" assistant. I've been eating fresh greens year-round from my LIVING ROOM. SO COOL. And seriously, homegrown greens taste way better than what's in the standard grocery store. Finally, Gardyn's customer service is spot-on. They respond quickly to both emails and Facebook comments in the Gardyners group (which is a huge bonus itself-- the group is so positive and fun). If you're on the fence about making this purchase, don't be. You won't regret it.

I am thoroughly enjoying my Gardyn. If you learn how to use all the support features on the Gardyn app you can get 99% of your questions answered 24 hours a day! I have had very little need to contact Gardyn Support directly because when I follow all the recommendations set forth in the support section of the app I have tremendous success! When I DO reach out to support, my questions or concerns are addressed within a day or 2 and so far I have been happy with all resolution of concerns. I am notoriously a “plant killer” and so the fact that I am now growing greens for my family at a rate faster than we can eat them....INDOORS....year round...in ALASKA...with no messy dirt makes me super super happy!

I love my Gardyn! I’ve always wanted to have a garden but I’m so bad at keeping plants alive. With Gardyn all the guesswork is taken care of by Kelby (the AI powering the Gardyn). Now gardening (Gardyning) is super easy and convenient. Best of all, my family always has fresh delicious produce.

I’m so surprised to see so many low stared reviews! I have a great experience. I mainly grow leafy vegetables, one tomato plant and two peppers. I’m so happy to be able to eat so many green salads day after day, all greens from the gardyn. I don’t have to wash them, treat them with any pesticides or other toxic chemicals. Tomatoes are so beautiful and growing more like grapes, bundles of them, an eye pleaser (I wish I could add the photos of them). Recommend buying, I live in Chicago area and had my own greens entire winter and spring. Thank you Gardyn.

Got the gardyn a little under a year ago. The WiFi connection never worked even with lower GHz. The entire unit bricked and stopped working and now the replacement piece has arrived but I still cannot connect to the WiFi they specifically say is needed. I have had pods mold in weeks upon them growing, pods not germinate at all, pods I just purchased dying currently due to this replacement piece issue, and have yet to actually receive live chat assistance or a phone call even upon request. Either Gardyn gets their WiFi issue situated and replaces my plants or I will be requesting an entire refund and if I am not issued my refund I will be reporting the continued issues to the BBB. Don’t waste your money on something not even capable of connecting to WiFi properly when it solely runs on WiFi.
