I've been there, and believe me, it did not feel so good.. I've always dreamed of somebody to oversee my plans, help construct my approach, and orient me to the mentality of top performers that I looked up to. Therefore, and since I finished my STEP1, I've taken it upon myself to help students in need, and get them where they want to be, where their goals sit.. The goal is to teach you question-taking strategies, and thinking techniques that the brightest students and highest performers use; to eventually build a perfectly well-rounded test taker that tolerates the harsh environment of the USMLE exam. I explain difficult concepts in a question-guided strategy that emphasizes active learning and deep understanding of the material, as well as orient you to the right resources to use, at the right times, and in just the right way. I teach effective learning methods and memorization techniques that allowed me and my students to get a hold of the enormous USMLE content in a limited period of time. You'll use the content that you already know so efficiently that you'll notice a significant improvement right away. You'll deal with questions more intelligently and will be much less likely to make mistakes that impede your progress and prevent you from reaching your goals.

Mohammad was an extremely helpful and supportive tutor. He worked with me during my intial dedicated period but also when I decided to take extra time. He wasn't pushy or telling me exactly what to do but helped support me in my decision. I am extremely grateful for his help as I was able to pass step 1 on the first try!

I worked with Muhammad back in January 2024 to prepare for my USMLE Step 1 exam. His tutoring helped me pass the exam and improve on NBMEs as he worked with me to identify content gaps and explain testing strategy. I became more confident in my testing abilities and medical knowledge content. Because of how essential his tutoring was for me passing Step 1, I reached out to him again when I was preparing for my Step 2CK exam in August 2025. He thoroughly explained the strategies needed to do well on Step 2, and as we practiced questions together, he gave insight into what the test writers were thinking and aiming to test with every sentence of a question. I was able to recognize these patterns quickly, which allowed me to complete questions faster while also maintaining accuracy. His guidance again gave me confidence in my knowledge of the material as well as in my testing strategy. He has remained a very kind, patient, professional, and affordable tutor who has mastered testing strategy. As a resident physician, he has also mastered the content and pulls from his current knowledge and experiences during tutoring sessions to help explain the material when needed. If you're struggling to improve your scores for any of the Step exams or just want to boost your confidence in testing strategy, Muhammad is a great tutor to help you accomplish your goals as he helped me reach my goals for both Step 1 and Step 2.

When I failed my 1st attempt of Step 1, I was devastated. I thought that just because I had worked hard, everything would turn out ok. What I didn't realize is that my approach was flawed. While I did focus on my weaknesses and all the metrics pointed towards me being ready to sit, I was not truly ready. Why? Because I primarily focused on content review over drilling questions for an exam full of 3rd and 4th order questions. I passed my 2nd attempt today and Muhammad played a large role in my success. He conveyed the importance of using questions to direct your learning, which seems obvious in hindsight but is something that cannot be understated. He also teaches you to approach every question with a standardized approach in order to have a tried and true framework that you can always rely on under time pressure. Could I have passed my 2nd attempt without Muhammad? Maybe sure, this test is really about having a solid foundation and then drilling as many questions as possible for pattern recognition. But Muhammad gave me a toolbox that I can use for shelf exams and beyond as well as support during this difficult time, both of which were invaluable

Patient and charismatic tutor. He figures out what you’re missing in the context of test taking and works with you to figure out a method to tackle questions efficiently and effectively. Cannot recommend him enough!

Before starting tutoring, I was lacking the critical thinking skills needed to analyze questions. Also, I was not thoroughly reviewing each practice question. Muhammad helped me by teaching me how to think clinically. He taught me how to dissect each sentence of a question vignette to create a differential. He demonstrated how to thoroughly review each question so that I would build up my knowledge base. Finally, he provided me with a structure so that I knew how to assess my progress. Thankfully, I was able to pass USMLE Step 1 on my first attempt. I would recommend Muhammad to anyone who is struggling with preparing for the USMLE Step exams. Not only is Muhammad absolutely qualified to tutor, but he is understanding of a student's needs. His rates are affordable for the average medical student. I intend to utilize his services while preparing for my USMLE Step 2 exam.

You can definitely tell that Muhammad is both very knowledgeable in medicine and skillful as a tutor. His guidance helped me learn how to properly approach questions and determine which areas needed more content review. I felt fully prepared by the time I had to take my exam.

Muhammad was very understanding of my time constrains. He worked around my schedule and made the process smooth. He is a good tutor. He does a good job in breaking down concepts and explaining them. He also owns up to mistakes and show the common mistakes people can make (including himself). Overall smaller guy and good tutor.

Can’t say enough great things about him! I stagnated in my step studying and couldn’t figure out why I wasn’t achieving the scores I wanted on NBMEs. Muhammad quickly and attentively assessed my weak and strong points and helped my score jump in just a month! He’s approachable, kind, knowledgeable, and genuinely dedicated to helping his students succeed and I can earnestly say, he’s the main reason I was able to overcome my testing anxiety and do well on test day. I strongly recommend him to anyone studying for USMLE or COMLEX!
