Worst company to work with. They didn’t let me finish my claim and caused a lot of stress. Couldn’t get ahold of them by phone, had to use email. The moving company broke many things. I would never use them or the moving company ever again.

The company can improve by not being deceitful to customers who've filed a complaint with them regarding lost, stolen and or damaged items. They're not honest nor are they professional at all. They give me the impression that they were handling my claim when it fact they've already denied it but hadn't notified me. However, they reported that they never received my claim packet which is what they stated to me after more than 3 months after I emailed them for my claim status. Furthermore, prior to them reporting that they never received my claims packet; I received an email from them on March 17th 2026 acknowledging that they received all of my documents and was investigating my claim. Unfortunately, they were not trustful when they reported reaching out to me via email to inform me that they never received my claim package which was untrue and nor did they provide proof of any email attempt.

Wish I could leave "double zero" stars as they provide very poor customer service and refuse to adhere to the very same pedantic rules that they make the customers adhere to. In an attempt to submit a dispute letter for the claim, they accused me of sending the letter more than once and thereby rejected my dispute letter altogether. When I tried to reach out to them, explaining that I had only sent the dispute letter once and gave them proof, they replied with the same A.I.-sounding form response over and over again. I believe they had already made up their minds not to go further with the dispute and wanted to wash their hands of the situation and turn it over to someone else. Oh, and the last I checked, for every negative review left, the response is almost exactly the same -- as if they could care less and they probably don't!

Lack of responses it’s been almost 2 months with no resolution. I have many items lost and damaged with no settlement in site to replace what the moving company caused.

My experience with Moving Claims has been extremely frustrating. I submitted my claim on February 16, 2026, regarding damaged items from my move. It is now April 27, 2026, and I still have not received a meaningful response or follow-up. The process feels like the information goes into an abyss. You submit the required information, but there does not appear to be any clear communication, accountability, or timely update afterward. A claims process should not leave customers wondering for months whether their claim is even being reviewed. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Moving Claims. The lack of response and follow-through has only added to an already stressful moving experience.

Total scam based on making claims difficult with lots of roadblocks, sleight-of-hand and intentional frustration. If you're moving company uses them, you are SOL. If you haven't hired a moving company yet, check who they use for claims and investigate that outfit first; if they are like movingclaims.net, run. Fast.

Movingclaims.net is one of the most frustrating and unhelpful companies I’ve ever dealt with. They make the claims process nearly impossible. They demand bills of sale, depreciation calculations, model numbers, two written repair estimates, and multiple color photos from different angles — and they won’t even accept digital photos. They also require box numbers from the original invoice. After all that, the “industry standard” payout is only $0.60 per pound, no matter how valuable or damaged the item is. I asked why they require so much unnecessary paperwork when they’re just going to estimate the weight and pay pennies, and they never responded. Instead, they kept sending automated emails telling me how to file. It feels like they intentionally create barriers so customers give up. Before you hire a moving company, ask who handles their claims. If they say Movingclaims.net, choose someone else.

The worst interface, the worst customer service, the worst results. Just try to move yourself, the entire industry is rigged.
