Shipping was great, I had a question and called Oxford, GA and was advise to get in touch with the Texas office. I sent them an email on Sept. 28 and the response which I received on the same day, was to ask a question that I had answered in my original request. I answered the question again and have not received an answer back immediately. Friday, Sept. 30, I followed up with another text and today is Oct. 6, and I have not heard back.

The size was much smaller than expected and I thought fairly expensive for the amount of stain.

I love this product and it was very easy to use and the finished product was exactly what I was looking for. I am not however impressed with the durability! I refinished 2 pieces of English Walnut for charcuterie boards. They were allowed to cure for over a week before use and were extremely fine sanded before finishing. After one use they were heavily stained from berries and cheese and when scrubbed cleaned they are now dull and splotchy. I am now second guessing using this product again on future projects. For the price I expected more.

I appreciate that there is a knowledgeable staff, but the prices are much higher than competitors, and the return policy and shipping are both sub par.

A very good product, packaged very poorly. In measuring the 3 to 1 ratio very carefully, I am still wondering if there was enough accelerator provided. Hard to tell because it is impossible to get it all out of the can without cutting a hole in the can bottom. But I did end up with excess oil and an insufficient quantity of accelerator remaining. To their credit, when I sent an email to the supplier about the problem they got back to me the next day, explained that they knew they had a problem, and were providing new bottles for the accelerator (empty I presume) if I would like one. I did like the result on the end grain maple slab that I used it on.

Products recently arrived after being unavailable for a few weeks on back order. Haven't used it yet. Am somewhat appalled at the high price to quantity ratio, relative to it's stated superior qualities without specific comparisons to other materials - Monocoat compared to: polyurethanes, spar varnish, lacquer, tung oil, danish oil, etc. - in terms of hardness, finish sheen, number of coats required, durability, and other performance results as well. Honestly, I purchased it based on a youtube video - you know which one - to test it for myself on projects underway - shelving, desk top, table top, hall bench, drawers, blanket chest. Hopefully a little will go a long way, and it will perform better than expected. Then I will come back and redo the rating.

I love Monocoat products and have had amazing results with them on my floors and now refinishing the surface of my coffee table. Delivery time has become a problem. In the past, delivery was in a couple of days. Once, I had a delivery the day after I ordered. But with my most recent order, it took 10 days for my sample to arrive. I could have walked to the warehouse and picked up the sample myself much faster. Not sure what is going on, but if this is the service that Monocoat is getting from USPS, it is time to switch to another shipping company.

My earlier 1 star review was rejected, maybe this one will be approved. This product is not good.
