I'm giving mixed results because I received a letter in the mail from money ladder stating I was pre approved for a loan/debt consolidation. My problem is the letter came in a envelope that had state of New York at the top and money ladder is a private company. In the letter it states money ladder interest rate reduction loan. Never mentioned was the debt settlement option which is different from the debt consolidation loan/cash . I believe debt settlement can be a option for certain circumstances but if a program is good you never have to mask it !

I wish I had the nice agents everyone else did. I had Rudy, and when he mentioned an account I haven't heard of, he sounded skeptical when I said I don't know what the account is, especially when he gave me the date. Then, when I said I had to think about the negotiation program (as anyone should when closing credit accounts drops your score before raising it), he said, "Call me back when you're ready to get out of debt" and hung up. UPDATE: I received a follow-up call from Mike, so I left him a message detailing what happened, and he called me right back and listened to me. He also said Rudy is usually the nicest guy, but he's going through a lot right now, which I can understand and appreciate. I'll count this as just a bad day for Rudy and hope anyone else who needs assistance gets his good ones. Also, thank you, Mike for the call, especially while under the weather.
