Was sold a dodgy aftermarket phone…

Was sold a dodgy aftermarket phone screen for my phone, and after much prodding managed to get a refund nearly a month down the line but not for the delivery on returning the defective screen. Also be advised, this is not a UK company - they only utilise a UK address for business purposes!

Response from MiOT Store· Feb 7, 2026

We are truly sorry that you had a negative experience with MiOT Store. However, we believe it is important to clarify the facts for transparency and for other customers reading this review. Despite our standard corporate policy, we personally went out of our way to support you and did more than we were obligated to do: We issued a 100% refund of the full amount you paid to us We additionally offered up to a 50% discount on a future purchase as a gesture of goodwill We proposed several resolution options, all of which you agreed to in writing, confirming by email that you were satisfied with the outcome The replacement screen you received was fully tested by our technical team and confirmed to be in perfect working condition. Nevertheless, we accepted your concerns and resolved the matter entirely in your favor by issuing a full refund. We would also like to clarify that MiOT Store operates transparently and internationally, with physical business addresses and logistics partners in the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, Poland, Hong Kong, and China. Notably, your return was shipped locally within the United Kingdom, where it was received successfully and your 100% refund was completed. All our company information and addresses are listed openly and in full compliance with platform and legal requirements. We genuinely regret that, despite a full refund and additional goodwill gestures, you remain dissatisfied. Our team always strives to resolve issues fairly, professionally, and with maximum consideration for our customers.
