the cancellation process is out of control, it had at least 5 screens when you are trying to cancel the service.

I enjoyed Memberpress so far, but I wish I could track my individuel members journey on my site. I’d like to know which videos exactly a member watched and when so I could create more like this, etc. Just like in Kajabi.

Love the product, it’s great for our needs, but would need it in French it seems to be a problem for selling subscriptions to our French audience. I tried to have it translated as stated in your resource but doesn’t seem to work for us. Thank you

I had called/emailed about an automatic charge just to inquire and ask for assistance and no one got back to me 😞

I've been a customer with this company for a few years but have decided to cease services whilst we redesign our site. I've found cancelling the autorenewal to be frustrating. There are multiple screens/popups to get through with offers and warnings to scare you into remaining a subscriber. These screens are purposefully designed to make it difficult to leave (e.g. cancellation buttons that don't appear until you've checked multiple boxes). I'm sure someone from the company will reply that they are trying to offer value, and ensure customers understand that they will no longer have security updates if they stop paying - but realistically I think it's pretty plain why they do this! I really dislike that when you sign up you are automatically opted in for yearly renewal! In my opinion, the honest approach is to ask a customer their preference when signing up (and to make it easy for them to opt out). Based on my recent experience I will unfortunately be considering other options when redesigning my site.

We do have a thorough cancelation process; however, it is not to “scare” our customers. We’d never do that! Instead, it’s our way of sticking with you every step of the way. Before a customer cancels (especially one like yourself who has been with us a while), we like to get a better understanding of why you’re leaving. Collecting customer feedback is our best technique for bettering our product to ensure a better user experience, as well as get ideas on how we can develop new strategies to fit your needs. As for our renewal process, like the majority of subscription services, our customers find an automatic renewal much more convenient. Not to mention a familiar practice many do with their own membership business. Could you imagine if you signed up for internet service and they shut it off after the first month because you didn’t click the extra button to opt-in for service the next month? Plus, we also send out a 30-day reminder to alert users of their upcoming renewal.
