Meijer has hired Shipt to handle its pickup system and it is a terrible idea. Shipt is a terrible company that does not do anything promised and Meijer continues to enable that contractor to abuse its customers. Now to be referred to as former customers. Bad move, Meijer.

This review regards the Meijer partnership with Shipt, which handles their online grocery ordering for pick up or delivery. When Shipt kept rescheduling my order, Meijer Customer Service informed me there was nothing they could do. Since Meijer puts this service on their company website, then the service is as much their responsibility as the partner company providing the service. Other than this, our local Meijer is a good store to shop at and the staff is always helpful and friendly.

Really like Meijer much more than walmart, great service here in Ohio!

We shop Meijer often. I have misplaced my phone a couple of times at Meijer and when I called and asked about it they were very friendly and I picked it up with no trouble. Very honest people! Their customers service is great! Their bakery is super! Their fruit and veggies dept can't be beat! Kim Perkins really helped me out in Customer Service this week.

They dont show the nutritional value on their products on their website. seriously? is that even legal? makes you wonder why. i dont see this being anything but SHADY, ..they even stopped showing the back of products. so there's no way to know.

On Saturday at 515 in the am i went to meijer to pick up pop for work and slipe and fell i went to hospital and had cat scan and x rays they stated that i had multiple contusions on my left and right han left shoulder right ankle also phone screen and phone that i just updated 30 dsy ago broke riped jeans and damage new work boots on 26 had to have mri done and have missed 4 days work and meijet has yet to contact me or file a report looks like they want me to contact an attorney

Whenever I go to my local Meijer I am treated as though I am the number one customer. This is not the reason i continue to shop at Meijer. The employees are why i continue to shop at Meijer. I'm always treated with kindness and respect. The Meijer employees treat me as though I'm a friend, that's what keeps me going back. The selection (although somewhat limited in comparison to say, Walmart) is not very vast but they have most of what I need. Pricing is comparable in the merchandise areas but the food pricing is very comparable to Kroger when it comes to those deals and specials. Customer service is more than friendly. A great place to take AND keep your business.

I give them 4 stars today but damn they are inconsistent. I mainly shop for groceries and don't judge their sundry departments. They generally have good prices and broad selection as long as they have the item in stock. Customer service is sketchy at best, but I see a bit of an uptick lately. I like this regional privately held USA company and hope it does well.
