Scammy company
Haven't even tried the food yet but the company's policies are scammy. July 5: Payed $49 for my Week 1 delivery (to be delivered 7/12) July 8th: Got billed $190 for Week 2 delivery (to be delivered 7/19). An intro price of $49 is meaningless if you don't even get to try the food/service before they bill you four times as much for the next week. Worse, it seems to be very difficult to suspend your plan between the initial order and the second week's order. I tried to suspend or cancel my plan on July 8th and again on 10th. They kept telling me I had to wait until July 12th to cancel, but there's only a short window when you can cancel or suspend.

Response from Meal Prep Sunday· Jul 13, 2026
We're sorry to hear the ordering timeline caused frustration and understand why the experience felt confusing. To clarify, Meal Prep Sunday operates as a weekly subscription service, and upcoming orders are generated in advance to allow time for meal selection, ingredient purchasing, and production planning. As a result, customers may see their following week's order process before receiving their first delivery, particularly when placing an order close to the weekly cutoff window. We certainly understand your perspective that trying the service before the next billing cycle begins would feel more intuitive. Feedback like this is valuable and helps us evaluate how we communicate our subscription timelines and introductory offers to new customers. Our intention is never to make account management difficult or misleading, and we appreciate you sharing your concerns as we continue improving the customer experience. - Meal Prep Sunday Team
