This place is a total scam! Paid $40, waited 1 hour to see a physician for a severe sinus infections. The doctor is basically rushing and rambling threw an obvious script that he is reading. I could barely understand a word he said he was reading so fast! He was extremely dismisive, rude, and made it very obvious that he just want to get his money and get off the video chat. He minimised my discomfort and pain and basically told to go take some ibuprofrin. I told him I had already tried OTC medicine. I also explained that I typically suffer this time every year with the same issue do to weather change. A typical z-pac and low dose prednisone always resolve the problem. This guy basically told me the he would not be told, by me, what medications to prescribe. He also stated that my current PCP didn't know what she was doing and was trying to kill me with her previous prescription recommendation. He then continued by telling me I could wait 10 days to reschedule another appointment if the problem didn't go away and then he just disconnected the call. I have never been treated so unprofessional in a medical situation. I would not recommend this place if this is an example of the type of doctor they select.

I wish I had seen these honest reviews BEFORE I wasted a precious month of my life! AND I wish I could give zero stars! This service is a colossal zoo. I talked to 10 different customer service reps and got 10 different answers- my complaints have been escalated so many times and it means ZERO! The left hand does not know what the right hand is doing- they do not know their own rules,after failed appointment attempts and requests, they finally assure you (after multiple phone calls to CS) everything is set- the system calls both parties and THEN I'm told that the needed forms are not done! NO ONE EVER told me anything about forms needed-after many calls to CS AND NO ONE in customer service knows where the forms are suppose to come from! The therapist assured me that this was a total anomaly-I think not! I think this is another step in the process of defrauding honest people of their money and time and hope! Now one of the mgrs of CS says that in order to be covered by insurance , the 2 people have to be in the same location. I swear, if they try to charge me for the 2 useless "appointments" I've had , I will take this to the Supreme Court! THIS SERVICE IS BEYOND TERRIBLE for mental health issues and sounds like from other reviews, the medical side has major issues too! SAVE YOUR SANITY AND AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!!!

Absolute joke. The doctors are rude, they don’t listen, and one of the actually HUNG UP ON ME!! These doctors have no business treating sick people the way they do. FOR SHAME!! EDIT: I have NO idea why they responded asking me to email them if they had no intention of emailing me back.

I have seen many complaints by people and they all say the same thing. MD live initially charges $1 for services and then when you give them your insurance information, somehow it never gets resolved and you get charged a large fee. Despite having called them three times to fix this issue, I still got charged the large fee even though my insurance covers this. They never respond. I’ve seen countless complaints on Better Business Bureau and no action taken by this company! Buyer beware. Try Virtuwell instead-a much more honest company!

A horrible, unprofessional doctor who gave me very bad medical advice caused to more health issues. The whole visit lasted around 5 minutes. The doctor was walking around and I could only see the top of his head. He didn't listen and did the opposite of what I asked for. The doctor was rude and unknowledgeable. When I contacted their office they told me to pay again instead of apologizing for their horrible service. Don't use their doctors!

First impressions with this service have left a very bad taste in my mouth. I am a telehealth provider and know the importance of presenting myself as a professional. All providers should be well versed in how to present themselves in the post-COVID era. Dr McGuiggin’s face was never entirely visible during the entire visit and she never once looked at the camera. The lighting in the room was bright, but poorly positioned to enhance the presence of the provider. I could barely hear the provider and the sound was at its highest level on my computer. It was clear that the room from which Dr McGuiggin was conducting the appointment was not designated as an office, as I saw an exercise bike in the background. As for the care, I would not recommend Dr McGuiggin to anyone. I attempted to contact my regular provider to deal with my issue; and issue that I have dealt with many times in the recent past. Dr. McGuiggin wanted to prescribe and antiquated antibiotic instead of the antibiotic that I have found to work well for my particular issue. Dr McGuiggin’s excuse was that the antibiotic that I had asked for was experiencing a national shortage. As a provider, I confirmed after our call that what Dr McGuiggin had told me was not true. She refused to prescribe a steroid taper to augment the antibiotic therapy and suggested that I go to my regular provider for this. In retrospect, urgent care would have been a better option

Zero. Help. I guess because it’s a $0 copay with my company - we don’t get help? When you tell the doctor that you get bronchitis, at least twice a year… That you never get a fever, and are taking Mucinex and Sudafed and he turns around and says oh, because you don’t have a fever - it’s viral. I. NEVER. GET. A. FEVER. Then he suggest that you take Mucinex. I. JUST. TOLD. YOU. I. AM. I feel like death and began to cry and his reaction was I’m sorry I upset you. I’ve used this app twice with zero help. Who has extra money, or hours to deal with office staff and excessive wait times, to go see a doctor?? I simply said I’m sorry to have wasted your time and hung up. What a useless, time wasting (he was also 15 minutes late to call for the appointment time I scheduled), sorry excuse for a medical HELP app. I would give MD, live zero stars if I could. To say, I have been less than impressed, would be an exaggeration. Now I sit and wait for their basic reply to ALLLLL the 1 star reviews - please email us at letushelp at mdlive.com. {insert eye roll here}

MD Live charged me for a tele-visit in December 2022, without my consent. I have been in contact with them requesting a full refund since the charge was withdrawn from my account for going on two months now. It is (as of today) February 2023 and I still have yet to receive my rightful refund. I also have documentation stating the withdrawal of funds from my account without my consent was in fact a mistake on their behalf, but still have yet to receive my refund. When I call, I get the run around and although my request has been "expedited" I still have yet to receive any real action or resolution. Be very weary of this source of care b/c they have no hesitation taking your money but every excuse to return it.
