Horrible experience with "Dr. Onyinye Ugboaja". She constantly interrupted me, has too thick of an accent to be understood over the phone, and refused to refill a non-controlled medication. All she told me was I need to see my doctor, which of course I can't get into and defeats the purpose of paying for the call.

For the most part I like MD live for things that I could go to my pcp or urgent care. Except the last visit. I was bitten by a kitten. There was no rash, etc. All I needed was a prophylactic antibiotic because their bites pretty much close quickly and can result in an infection that a person isn't aware of. It's pretty ridiculous especially with uploading a picture to show the injury site. I was told to go to an... ER or Urgent Care. Seriously? In Philly? For a cat bite that doesn't show signs of infection to get something that should be something to get easily? (The doctor was like I'm not losing my job for this. And this was after he out me on hold to pick up his other line. I wasn't arguing with him etc. ) Like this is stupid.

Lots of technical glitches. I've used video telehealth for years on same PC but would not work in MD Live and the therapist confirmed it's wonky. They send you confirmations to confirm your session then when you click to confirm it says the appointment does not exist and since you did not confirm, the appt is cancelled. If you go through Cigna that adds another level of disconnect, as confirmed by the rep I just spoke to ("Rayna.")

Spoke to therapist Eileen Clark in one session. She recommended a website which turned out to be some podcasts and a book for sale. She made an appointment for another session and then canceled it. When I asked mdlive what happened, they said " she didn't think I was a good fit". So I got dumped by a therapist. I was willing to give her more time to see if it worked out. Very unprofessional! Regarding mdlive reply: I did contact them before I wrote the review. I just got the " sorry for your inconvenience" line.

I am so tired of this company. Telemedicine is supposed to make things easier but it is always the same thing, charge money and send to "in-person" doctor. Every single doctor I have ever talked to is rude as well. Don't waste your money, just go to Instacare in your town.

Garbage. Serious garbage just like the American health care system. This is the epitome of the incompetence of why we need socialized healthcare. Charge $$$ and waste your time.

This is the worst telehelath service I have used! The app is completely non user friendly and so out of date. I had an appt scheduled and was on the phone when the Dr called, missed the called by a few seconds and they don't even call you again, you have to reschedule automatically and shes not even available for over a week! Mind you this has been nerve wrecking already due to getting abnormal lab results and now to have to wait to discuss for like 10 more days is just insanity! And I can't reschedule visits on the app, I have to call the 888 number and tell them I want to reschedule and then soneone has to call me back???? If that isnt the most inconvenient thing! You can only schedule initial appointments on the app. It's so confusing and the customer service is also non helpful. The reps are non knowledgeable about the app and you get told different things every time you call. I won't use it anymore going forward, it's been a nightmare to say the least!!!!!

1st visit was a success, easy and straight forward with a nice doctor that listened and seemed to care about me and actually had personal experience with my issue. I questioned why I would even go back to standard PCP's. 2nd visit was for urgent care to ask for STAT labs, was told they can't order STAT labs. This phone call lasted around 2 minutes and hung up and still had to pay. 3rd visit was a total disaster. The doctor (different from the first) was abrasive and didn't understand my history. She wrote in my medical records things that were incorrect and untrue things which involved the phone call that took place as well as incorrectly stating my diagnosis and lab results. I'm using this as a referral to an in-person provider and I already anticipate headaches as I'll have to correct what this doctor put in my records. She also did not have her video on which came off rude and impersonal. I didn't even bring up all the issues I wanted to mention because the visit was rushed and felt like I was bothering the doctor.
