Great interaction, but limited number of consultations as in a specialised proffesion.

Thank you for your feedback! We're pleased you had a great interaction and truly value your expertise. We understand that opportunities can be more limited in highly specialized fields, and we appreciate your patience as we work to expand relevant matches on Maven.
Your gift card payment structure for Venmo payout (where you take 4% from your experts) is horrible. It is not working. Maven says "they are fixing the problem". They've been saying that for weeks. You cannot speak to a real human. There is no contact information, only a stupid bot who is not helpful at all. I work on other platforms like GLG, Guidepoint, Third Bridge and others who are far superior and offer cash payout without applying a 4% fee. Don't waste your time with Maven. It is a terrible platform.

We understand how important a smooth, transparent payout process is, and we regret the inconvenience you’ve encountered. We’d like to clarify that our reward partner, YourDigitalReward.com, has temporarily paused PayPal and Venmo payouts due to an ongoing fraud-prevention review. Our support team shared more details on this via email, and we’ll continue to keep you informed. The 4% fee you mentioned is a third-party processing charge tied to specific payout methods and not a fee imposed by Maven. We truly value your feedback and are committed to improving the experience for everyone in our network. Thanks again for sharing.
A great experience where I learned as much I was there to "teach."

Thank you for your kind words! We're glad to hear that your experience was both valuable and insightful. We truly believe that every conversation is a two-way exchange, and we're grateful for your contribution to the Maven community.
I used to have good experiences working with Maven but of late they are letting themselves down vs their competition. Firstly it takes a while to get paid following survey completion, longer than other research companies. Then if that wasn't frustrating enough, after they pay you they can email you a few weeks later to say your answers werent up to scratch and they reverse the credits, which means the next survey you complete you won't get paid for, the money will be used to take your credits from negative back to zero. Why not QA responses to surveys prior to payment, you have sufficient time given how long it takes to receive payment. I haven't experienced any other research company payout then try and claw it back. Paying out you would assume means they are happy with your responses! You need to change this process, it puts people off working with you. @Maven - your reply below speaks volumes, you've acknowledged you do this, it undermines the trust between you and your panel of experts, why would we work with you when there's a risk of you trying to claw payment back weeks after payment is made. I would like my credits refunded (I won't do anymore work for you until that's the case which means you won't get the negative credit balance set back to zero, there's an irony there) and you to put better processes in place that involve checks being made prior to payment, not afterwards. That way everyone is clear.

Thank you for your feedback. We understand your frustration and apologize for the inconvenience. In some cases, a client may flag quality issues after payment has been made. While our current protocol allows for post-payment quality audits in order to uphold the standards our clients expect, we recognize that this isn’t an ideal experience for our contributors. We're actively evaluating ways to make this process faster and clearer for everyone involved. We appreciate your past contributions and hope to improve your experience moving forward.

Thank you for your feedback. We're glad to hear you found our process at Maven super organized. We strive to make every experience smooth and efficient, and it's great to know that reflected in your interaction with us. Looking forward to your continued participation in our expert network!
Positives: - Transparent profile and dashboard system. - Relatively generous with opportunities. Negatives: - Very, very slow payment system. A two week wait for answers to be accepted and then a further two weeks for payment. Why do I need to wait a month for what NewtonX does in seconds? - Increasing number of invalid opportunities after a significant amount of work has already been put in. It's not uncommon to spend 10-20 minutes on a survey before being ejected for being in the wrong demographic group. I will say it again, these questions need to be asked first. I should not be spending time answering technical questions and then ejected because I live in the wrong state. Or I use the wrong software.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We're glad to hear you appreciate the transparency of our platform and the range of opportunities. We also understand your concerns about the payment timelines and disqualification process. While the current payment structure is tied to how projects are approved and processed, we recognize that the wait can be frustrating. On the qualification side, we're actively working with clients to reduce the number of screening questions and ensure that key criteria are addressed earlier in the process. Your feedback helps us focus on making the experience more efficient and respectful of your time. Thank you again for being part of our expert community.
