I am a small business owner who would be lost without MAP. As the country has opened up and is starting to bounce back, I am getting more phone calls then before the shut down. My calls get handled by MAP Comm professionally so that I can prioritize who to handle in what order.

A holiday fee?

Hi Dr. Kelly, Yes, we do charge a few small holiday fees as outlined in our terms of service. This is a common practice in our industry. We do this to ensure we can reward the receptionists who spend their holidays answering the phones for our clients. We will reach out to you directly to discuss further.
This is a VERY reasonably priced service ($39/mo) on their website yet looks like they have a few complaints with the Better Business Bureau for overcharging customers. We used this service for less than 6 weeks. At setup, we paid first & last month therefore we paid for 8 weeks of service. We had no overages which was the only way we would incur additional charges on top of our monthly service fee. After I cancelled they charged our card $100. The service was only $39/mo! The statement broke down payment for their service through December when I cancelled middle of November and a deposit that was never mentioned or paid at sign up. This company is a JOKE and needs to learn it's better to conduct business legally and with ethics than to wrongfully charge customers over $100 here and there. I took the time to write this in hopes it saves another business owner form the headaches we went through with this "company."

We strive to make our billing practices simple and transparent, so we will be certain to take your experience into account as we continue those efforts. Our team wanted to make sure you are aware that we did issue a partial refund yesterday. That may take 7-10 business days to reflect on your account, depending on your bank.
Our office uses map communications to handle after hour calls. It works great for us and our tenants are able to get any late night concerns taken care of.

We finally found a good call service! After several years of trying different providers all with empty promises, sneaky fees, and bad service we gave MAP a shot. They have proven that quality is not an impossibility in their industry! Thanks for the great service MAP!
