Chelsey was so helpful, patient, and really knew what she was talking about and how to properly convey the information. Liz was also very knowledgeable and meant well but sometimes she moved too slowly and asked the class to answer too many easy yes or no type of questions.

I really valued the in-person GMAT prep experience at Manhattan Prep in Boston. Sergio was an incredible teacher and took the time to provide great explanation of all material. I thought the online resources were helpful and it was nice to have a structured approach to studying. I only wish the curriculum included more about preparation between the class and your actual test date.

I learned different methods and strategies than taught in several books I have purchased. So this course is not a repeat of study guides. Plus you need 4-6 hours as week to complete practice assignments each week. Teachers has scored near perfect and they gave you their personal strategies as well.

I highly recommend my instructor, Christine. She made the class fun and was very honest with us about test strategy and business school apps. I have finished the class and am reviewing the coursework, but have not seen an increase to my score yet. I'm hoping that will change after further review of the study material and continued use of their resources.

I signed up for the live course to hold myself accountable to doing the work. There was WAY more work than I thought there was going to be. I wok about 50 hours per week and I would be spending at least 6+ hours trying to get it all done. I did like being able to go back and listen to the lessons, because I learned things from the mistakes that other people made. I ended up watching all of the lessons and doing all of the work, but on my on time. The writing section was great! I believe that's the reason that I got a 5

I had 4 months off between the end of undergrad and the start of my full-time job and decided to study for and write the GMAT during this time. Friends said I could study on my own, without a guided course, since I had so much free time, but I worried about pacing (it's easy to say "I'll do it tomorrow" when you have 3 months to study) and thought I could benefit from some structure, something to keep me on track and accountable. A friend recommended Manhattan Prep. I ended up choosing the self study option with online lectures, since I could move at my own pace, and was very happy when I received all the materials - I was getting all that I wanted: 9 weeks of lectures and a syllabus that laid out exactly what I should be doing from week to week. I didn't realize how much more than just a structured syllabus I would be getting from the course. I thought that studying content was enough - like in school - and that by doing the assigned work I would be okay. The course really taught me the intricacies of the test, like the importance of timing or that it was okay to skip questions, and gave me strategic test writing advice that I would not have gotten from any book. Using these strategies I was able to score higher on my test day than any practice test I had ever written. Manhattan Prep's course took my score from a 650 on day one, pre-study, to a 760 on test day! I have already started recommending the course to friends writing the GMAT and will continue to do so.

This course could be great if I was familiar with material. It is not a good course if you are new and learning all the concepts. I would recommend you to first find another online gmat course and complete the material before starting this gmat course. It will benefit you if you are familiar with material so you can only focus on solving problems and asking questions vs trying to understand the material.

I had a fantastic experience, a great teacher, and the perfect class size for a mix of individual and group learning experiences. John was an amazing teacher and always willing to go above and beyond to answer questions and provide advice. Would definitely recommend this service to others!
