Manhattan PrepReviews of manhattanprep.com

My instructor was a rock star. I learned so much more than just content. Shelton gave me strategies for test-taking that significantly contributed to my success and his patient, multi-approach teaching style helped me see many ways to tackle the GMAT's problems.

Marcus Hedahl was my instructor during a two-month Manhattan Prep GMAT course in Washington, DC. Marcus’s style and knowledge made the course both enjoyable and productive. He and Manhattan Prep were the major reason that I was able to move my GMAT score up to a 770 and score strongly in the Quantitative Reasoning section. First, Marcus is a master of the GMAT’s formal content. Every time someone in class would throw him a curveball – for instance, a niche question about grammar – he returned an answer. I therefore always felt that I was under the instruction of a competent instructor and had full faith in his guidance. Second, Marcus has deep knowledge of the tips and tricks that are difficult to glean from a prep book alone. He shared everything from his personal guessing strategies to timing tactics. I was more of a traditional test-taker who was struggling with the adaptive nature of the GMAT, and Marcus’s tactics made me feel confident and comfortable with selecting answers and moving on to successfully complete the test. Finally, Marcus’s style was light-hearted, fun, and energetic – so much so that I looked forward to driving an hour from work, in the middle of the week, after a busy financial services job in order to prep for the GMAT. I did make-up classes with other instructors during the two months, and I enjoyed those experiences, but Marcus was the most engaging teacher and best at helping me to power through the three-hour sessions. All in all: Manhattan Prep was pivotal to my success. And Marcus rocked. If I had to take another test in the future, I would absolutely seek him out specifically.

The Manhattan Prep course was very valuable and worth every penny. I thought that the study material and strategy guides were very useful but the instructor is really what made the review program stand out. There were great strategies discussed during class and people in the class felt comfortable asking questions. Keith Blume, my instructor, was very engaging and made 3 hours on a Saturday afternoon in a classroom very bearable. I would highly recommend his class!

Manhattan Prep gave me the tools to identify my personal needs in studying for the LSAT, as well as the tools to address them

Josh made the class fun and interesting, and was very engaging. I would recommend this program and Josh to anyone.

Rey was a phenomenal instructor - if you got an answer incorrect in class, he pushed you to figure out how to solve it correctly yourself without making you feel like an idiot for getting it wrong in the first place. I learned (and re-learned) so much!

Stacey and Patrick were phenomenal. They always provided great examples and helped explain shortcuts that can really save time!

Was such a great experience. Ryan made an amazing job ! I already have recommended this training to a friend. I encourage to attend small class : the learning is easier.
