I bought the Gift Certificate WordPress Plugin, Pro version I think but I'm not sure, the words PRO don't show up consistently. It's not expensive but there's a reason for that. First of all, the price varies depending on where you look. It's free on WordPress but that's, obviously the free version. It was $30 from CodeCanyon (but not called Pro) and $69 from the MakeWebBetter site (with a discount). I'm not even sure if I got the latest through CodeCanyon. Next - it is NOT easy to use. There's information in a video on their site but the English is challenging and the quality of the audio is too. Plus, the video is not up to date with the look of the pages. There's a multitude (I mean LOTS) of settings to establish and sometimes it's not clear what they do. The Info buttons help a little (but only a little), the video shows a little more, and the 'documentation' which is basically an abbreviated transcript of the video, shows much the same. Most importantly, you will need to code to create a gift voucher that you would want anyone to see. The included designs are largely unusable. The references to 'buyer', 'receiver' are confusing...considering there are emails going to the customer who bought the voucher, the person who the voucher is going to, and even some back to the website it was bought from. It's a minefield. I'm not saying it's bad but it's another plugin that you need to spend some time deciphering before you can use it and that's not exactly what I wanted to pay for. When I contacted the help desk, they were quite helpful and polite but again, it's not easy to communicate. If you're happy to put in the effort with this you may find it sufficient. There are other similar plugins that don't seem to do much more for a lot more cost, but if they save time... maybe worth it.
