I like the price, but the printer I ordered didnt come with the cable to attach it to the computer. WTH is that?

Bought open box iPad Pro 12.9 inch screen had a immediate need for one. It arrived within the week. Opened and it did not work. It was DOA. It had stickers attached that said it was completely checked out and was a ok. But it was not, returned item and I'm looking elsewhere to purchase one.

So I ordered an iPad Pro with an Apple pencil and chose the free shipping option with Fedex. Turns out that macmall requires a signature for this order. No problem, I can just use the free Fedex option to have them hold it at a nearby fedex store for me and sign for it there when I get off work! WRONG! Macmall specifies to Fedex that the customer cannot reroute packages to be held at a Fedex store. You can't pick up from the Fedex distribution center either. It's ground mail so they won't deliver on Saturday (when you're off work) nor will Fedex give you a time window of when they'll be at your house. So now my options are - 1) sign the door tag and hope no one steals it or 2) take a day off of work to get a package. Option 2 is not going to happen and Option 1 is even less secure than if they hadn't required a signature at all because the stupid door tag lets every thief in the area know that you're expecting something expensive to be dropped off and you won't be home to get it! Can a representative from macmall please explain why they force customers to take a vacation day to securely receive deliveries? Common sense tells us that 90% of people taking delivery are just going to sign the door tag - why can't we pick up from Fedex store where an ID is required? It is the most idiotic shipping policy I've seen and I'm tempted to just let the package get auto returned to them by Fedex and order from Apple directly instead of taking the risk of it being stolen!
