They scammed me, I told them that I had accidentally canceled the account and they ended up canceling it anyway, and what did I pay?

Lyhmehosting.com Caveat Emptor! LYHME, Inc. operating on the Internet as LHYMEHosting or Lhyme Hosting claims to offer game servers for Unturned for a monthly fee. You basically rent a shared environment Microsoft Windows virtual server with a limited web based front-end configuration utility for you to customize and manage your Unturned game server. The problem is, after payment and many hours of frustrating attempts to use their only partially functional system you discover that they staff no knowledgeable engineers that can fix problems on their equipment or the software. They used a 3rd party content management system that they have improperly configured. The system is not even capable of doing a backup and restore of the customer's own configuration. It is my opinion and belief that they are staffed by a bunch of barely legal gamers, and that there is not but one adult within their organization that has any real background in Information Technology, Data Center Management, or anything else related to nuts and bolts back end operation. I believe many of their clients struggle through one problem after another while the owner continues to collect monthly server rent. The company is akin to a large city slum lord that continues to promise his tenants working plumbing while never actually delivering on the promises. It seems to me that no one within Lyhme Hosting has the skill nor ambition to make their service actually function correctly. Lyhme's Philosophy, It's Your Fault, not Ours. Upon payment the customer is presented with a very basic "vanilla" configuration. First attempts to customize the configuration already reveal a number of bugs and glitches in the software management console Lhyme is using. Customers are forced to submit trouble tickets and wait 24 hours for a response that is almost never helpful. Documentation is very sparse, and disorganized across a wiki and Google Docs. The documentation is poorly written and contains many errors. Most of their system tools remain completely undocumented. Fully functional service is not delivered and the company lacks competent engineers to maintain their service. Lyhme Hosting is marginally a scam more than a legitimate functional game server hosting company. If you open too many trouble tickets the company will ban you from their service. Lyhme Hosting is only interested in customers that continue to pay and not complain that their service is not functioning correctly or that many of the promised features were never delivered. The staff tries to make it sound as though the customer is too impatient or has too great of expectations and should be denied service. These are not people from a generation of Americans that believe in an honest product for honest pay. If you want to hire slacker kid gamers to take your money, be snarky, and then blame you when you become impatient after days of waiting for them to fix their broken system, then Lyhme is just for you. For everyone else I would advise that Lyhme Hosting is near enough a scam that you should avoid this company at all costs. Lyhme Hosting, they add insult to injury! And as you can tell by carefully reading their disingenuous response they do terminate customers for little reason, having not received any abuse from me, just the expectation of service delivered, which they were unable to fulfill. Compared to the other hosting providers you will note that LyhmeHosting has a higher ratio of negative reviews. Reading the reviews you find many others that share my experience. So, who are you going to believe? Lyhme Hosting's Internet reputation is poor with many customers leaving negative reviews mostly containing the same complaints about the system not being very functional, having their account terminated without legitimate cause, and rude incompetent support staff. The customer base is small enough that the Lyhme staff chase them around the Internet with defensive retaliatory propaganda. Again, there are so many BETTER and MORE PROFESSIONAL options out there.... shop around.

Hi ColtsWalker, We appreciate your feedback and would like to address the points you make in your review. In regards to the servers and technologies we offer, we strive to provide nothing more than the best for our clients. We have chosen Windows Server 2019 for our machines but do not utilize any virtual servers. All of the machines we utilize come rented from an assortment of providers and datacenters in whole. In regards to our frontend web panel, we use TCAdmin as our server control panel (found here: https://www.tcadmin.com/). It is used by many game server hosts and has been around for quite some time now. We also personally employ one of the developers of this panel to help keep our own instance running and in tip-top shape. We've looked into our backups specifically since you pointed them out and have found no issue at this time. We're confident what we provide goes above and beyond the standards of other hosts. In reference to the statements about our employees, some members of the team are not "gamers" at all, but for the ones who are, wouldn't you prefer someone who is familiar with the game helping you with your service over someone who has never even opened it before? To address the accusations that LYHMEHosting is made up of a bunch of kids, at the time of writing this I am a college-educated adult and others members of the management team are all 21+ years old as well. All management members are either college-educated in related fields to the service we provide or have spent many hours learning the ropes. In response to the statements about our support quality, our support team members are not full-time employees available all the time. Despite this, and despite the fact that we state it can take 24-48 hours to receive responses in support tickets, our average support ticket response time is 12 hours or less. All support interactions are expected to be mature and professional, and if a support agent were to act in any other way, we would be forced to investigate further. We're happy to help our clients and strive to do our best in getting any issues with their services resolved as soon as possible. Finally, the reason you were refunded the price of your service and terminated as a client was not because you opened too many tickets. This action was taken because our support agents notified management that they were hesitant to respond to your specific support ticket as you were not showing the same amount of respect to them as they were happy to show to you. After being reviewed by management, we felt our support team should not be subjected to the treatment they were being subjected to in your support ticket. The client is absolutely important at LYHMEHosting but we refuse to see employees of the company disrespected and put down for trying to help. We're confident in the services we provide and feel that support we offer is of high quality. Thank you again for the feedback you provided, have a good day.

My Service was canceled without warning after the first week into my month I got. When asked about it they said they would fix it. After 3 days of waiting and asking for a reply I got nothing.

I spent $30 a server to wait 5 days for a response that I had push into a group chat with the owner and his friend. After I enticed a response after canceling the service I was finally contacted by a Manager instead of a Support Team Member, fixing my problem within 15 minutes of him being added to a call after I requested a cancellation and a refund. If it took him 15 minutes to fix it, why did I wait for 5 days for a response, or even a "Sorry for your wait, we are receiving a large amount of tickets making queue time really long." Instead I was just changed to work queue without a proper response. This company was suggested by a friend, and I feel sorry for anyone that suggests this service as it makes them look bad. I will never return to this provider. Get yourself a box from a data center and just install Pterodactyal for ease of access and do it yourself. Enjoy scamming little kids waiting for their database and automatic backups to be setup for 5 days through a support ticket.
