William, we apologize that our response time was longer than expected. However, important context is missing from this review. Your messages identified different affected sides—first the left hearing aid and later the right—so additional troubleshooting was necessary. The photographs you provided also showed significant wax and debris buildup on the hearing aids, receiver areas, charging contacts, and inside the charging case. We provided detailed instructions for cleaning the units, replacing the wax guards and tips, and testing each side separately. When a hearing aid powers on and charges but produces no sound after being cleaned and fitted with a new wax guard, the receiver wire is the next component to address. Receiver wires, wax guards, and ear tips are regular wear components and are not included under the one-year manufacturer-defect warranty. The $55 quoted was the cost of a replacement receiver wire—not a fee to honor the warranty. We have continued responding with troubleshooting and clear options for resolving the issue. The warranty remains available for qualifying manufacturer defects, but it does not include routine wear components or maintenance-related issues.

Hi, We take customer service concerns seriously; however, we have been unable to locate any order or customer record associated with your information. Based on our records, it does not appear that a purchase was made directly through LumiEar. We also have no record of a return request or correspondence from you regarding an order. If you believe this is an error, please contact us directly and provide your LumiEar order number so we can verify the purchase and assist you accordingly.

We’re sorry to hear you were not satisfied with your experience. Our records show that return instructions were provided within the 30-day trial period; however, the return process was not completed within that timeframe. As outlined in our policy, items returned outside of the trial period are not eligible for a refund. A chargeback was also initiated prior to the return being completed. Once a chargeback is filed, the matter is handled directly through the financial institution. In this case, the bank completed their review and did not rule in your favor based on the documentation provided. We understand hearing aids are a highly personal product and may not work the same for everyone, which is why we provide a trial period and support during that time.

Hi Ken, Thank you for your feedback—we’re really sorry to hear about your experience. A shorter battery life in one ear can happen for a few reasons, such as buildup on the charging contacts, uneven charging placement, or normal battery variation between units over time. We’d be happy to help you troubleshoot this and get it working as expected. We also want to clarify that our support team is available via email, and we respond to all inquiries in the order they’re received. If you didn’t receive a reply, it’s possible your message didn’t come through—please feel free to reach out again so we can assist you directly. In the meantime, we recommend: • Fully turning off the units before placing them in the case to charge • Cleaning the charging contacts on both the hearing aids and inside the case • Ensuring the devices are seated properly and charging fully Please contact us at your convenience—we’d really like the opportunity to make this right for you. Best regards, LumiEar Support Team

Hi Michael, We’re sorry to hear you feel this way, as this does not reflect the experience we aim to provide. For clarity, your order was successfully delivered, and our team worked with you through multiple emails to troubleshoot the app concerns you reported. When the issue could not be resolved remotely, we provided a prepaid return label so we could inspect the devices and proceed accordingly. Once your units were returned and evaluated, we did not find a defect consistent with the issues described. Despite this, and to bring the matter to a resolution, a full refund of $270 was issued back to your original payment method. We did respond throughout the process, and if any of our messages did not come through on your end, we’re always happy to resend or clarify at any time. We understand how frustrating this experience may have felt, and we remain here to assist if anything further is needed. – LumiEar Support Team

Hi Tom, We weren't able to locate any record of a purchase under your name in our system. It's possible you may have bought your hearing aids from a different company. We recommend reaching out directly to the retailer you purchased from to address the issue.
