They will hold you hostage DO NOT USE
Do not use this service, they will hold you hostage. Have been using litespeed for years and always paid on time so I thought I pay for the whole year upfront, so invoice was created, but I forgot to pay it. Litespeed broke my site now I can't stop litespeed to restart apache. Messaged support and they wont reply. Worst support even stay away never use, better services out there you can use. Reply to Litespeed response: I disagree because when I switched back to apache the error I kept seeing was the below clearly showing that the server was waiting for httpd, litespeed, lscgid to shut down and litspeed would not shut down. Furthermore, when Mark Zou re-enabled litespeed the website came back online till he disabled it again causing the site to break. You can make up as many excuses you like, but the truth of the matter is that litespeed is an unethical company holding its customers' hostage by behaving in a terrorist manner terrorizing its customers at its digression. This is the reason you have lost my business and I will actively discourage anyone from using your service. Full Error: can aslo be seen below in chat history. Apache Restart Output: Apache could not be started due to an error: The “/usr/local/cpanel/scripts/restartsrv_httpd --start” command (process 58693) reported error number 255 when it ended. Waiting for “httpd” to start ………Waiting for httpd, litespeed, lscgid to shutdown Once your tech support enabled the service again I was able to switch back to apache without any issue which was additional confirmation of litspeeds terrorist intentions. So I do not accept your excuses and will not be changing my review.

We're sincerely sorry that your otherwise pleasant LiteSpeed experience has ended so unpleasantly, but we'd like to clarify a few things for the record. In terms of billing: We waived your late fee when you asked us to. We switched your billing cycle to yearly, and then back to monthly, when you asked us to. We extended your due date by a week when you asked us to, all to give you more time to get your system working properly. In terms of "holding you hostage:" We have no interest in forcing you to use our service. There is a clearly documented "right" way to uninstall LiteSpeed and go back to Apache, and we shared that with you. When done correctly, it's simple to switch. Something went wrong on your end, and instead of accepting our offer of help, you claimed we had deliberately broken your server. At this point LiteSpeed was no longer installed on your system, but despite that, our support team offered to log in, have a look, and see if we could help you get Apache up and running. This is not within the scope of normal support, as Apache is not our product, but we tried to help nonetheless. You refused this assistance. Best of luck in the future, The LiteSpeed Team
