I doubt this review will be posted. The hat looked nice in the picture. The material was flimsy and thin. don't think they will last.

Ordered from the UK. Quality is OK, but I expected more for the price. Biggest problem is the returns policy, all sales outside of US are final. The front page states 14 day returns policy and the disclaimer on international returns is hidden away in the small print. I was directed to the UK site so they are clearly aware when someone is shopping internationally. Seems very dishonest to me. My hats didn't fit (despite checking measurement in advance) so unfortunately this has been an expensive lesson.

We do accept international returns, though we ask customers to cover the shipping costs due to the high expenses involved. Please email us at [email protected] with your order number, and we'll assist you further. We appreciate your understanding and hope to make this right for you. Best regards, The Lift Down Team
Construction of the hats is surprisingly poor - on both I purchased, the bill is off center. It makes me feel as though they don’t have sufficient quality control.

Absolutely shocking quality. Clearly just using instagram to to market a cheaply made product at premium prices.

Horrible company and customer service. do not buy! I ordered 2 hats online from them, after getting ads on instagram. I am based in the UK and after the hats arrived wanted to return them cause I don‘t like the way they look and sit in person. I reached out and asked for return instructions, at which point company tells me all international orders are final. - At no point during process was I made aware of that, lets face it no one reads a 20 page legalese return policy - How am I supposed to know where the company is based when they target ads in my country of residence. That should not be my problem - Company did send the goods from a warehouse in the UK (can see on my parcel) - It is frankly THE LAW to accept returns in UK for goods not physically seen before purchase - I offered to pay for return shipping My attempt to get a response to these concerns failed - the just ignore the email

If you are looking for a great basic cap Lift Down should be your first stop. I like hats and this has quickly become my favorite. Love the color, I got a green one, but plan to get more. Soft fabric with just a touch of lived in look make it any everyday choice. Just go get one. I have a big head and the XL is a perfect fit.
