My experience at LensCrafters was disappointing and frustrating. Despite paying extra, I didn't receive my glasses. On three separate occasions, I found the store closed, even though it was still within their scheduled hours. The staff, including the manager and a particular lady, were unhelpful and seemed indifferent to my concerns. Despite lodging a complaint with the head office, I haven't seen any resolution. Overall, my impression of LensCrafters, particularly the one at Macy's in Frisco, is highly negative.

My experiences with this company have been less than zero. Several years back I had a horrible experience where they filled a current prescription with an OLD prescription. They did not tell me I overheard them huddled together talking about it and that's how I found out. Never even offered an apology. Having had that horrible incident, fast forward 6 years and I need to get glasses again. I chose another LC location and told them of my horror story of the previous years and expected to get top-notch service. Boy, was I wrong. They filled my prescription with the progressive too HIGH up. They take them back and exchange them and AGAIN the progressive is TOO high but to add insult to this they filled the prescription WITHOUT transition in one lens. What woman just for the aesthetics of it all would ask to have one lens with and the other without. Now I'm on my third attempt for them to fill the prescription, but by this time I'm losing confidence that anyone in their entire franchise can fill my prescription and I ask for a refund. I began my ordeal with them on January 12, 2024, and ended with a refund to my insurance and a refund of my out-of-pocket experience on April 13. NEVER will I ever go back to this incompetent franchise for service and will NEVER recommend that anyone do either. You never see the same salesperson when you go to their store(s) and they in my opinion are all INCOMPETENT. When I was refunded, I went to another franchise (the Owl) and in one attempt they filled my prescription perfectly. If you value your vision and want to get your prescription for glasses filled without drama please DO NOT and I repeat DO NOT go to LensCrafters. Through all of this, they never offered me any kind of gift card or anything when I had to make 4 trips to their office 45 miles from my home. I've never been more outdone with a company than I have been with this trifling group called LensCrafters.

We went to LensCrafters in the Oshawa Town Centre because members of our family were very happy customers and we were not disappointed!! Irshad and Shin took care of us. They were very helpful and patient with us in finding our new glasses. They always have great promotions to help with the costs. We will definitely be return customers and share our experience with family and friends.

After a few bumps all was well and I got the correct frames and prescription. Attentive customer care service.
