Can't use my debit card and a little expensive. It's legal now why can't I use my card

Response from Leafwell· Aug 5, 2023
Hi Shareka, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback! It's important to clarify that at Leafwell, we do accept both debit and credit cards for our online consultation services. Your experience might be related to purchasing medical marijuana at a dispensary. It's indeed true that, while medical marijuana is legal in many states, it remains federally illegal. This status often prevents traditional banking systems and payment processors from working with dispensaries, which is why most require cash payment. We understand that this can cause inconvenience, and we hope for broader banking reforms in the future that will make transactions easier for patients. If you have further questions or require any assistance, please feel free to contact us at [email protected] or call us at 800-660-9085. We're here to help!
