My experience has always been very positive. I have purchased many dresses with Lady Black Tie, most recently a gift for my niece, the Giselle Dress. I found the email customer service to be helpful when I wasn’t sure what size to choose. Will continue to shop here!

Hello Rae, Thank you for sharing your positive experience shopping with us! We’re delighted to hear that you’ve consistently had positive experiences with Lady Black Tie and that our customer service team could help you choose the right size for your niece’s dress which is the Giselle Dress. Dresses are advertised with AI and vendor doesn’t make a good attempt to make sure the colors are correct in their AI images. I ordered a white dress and a very champagne/tan dress arrived. Size chart is also completely inaccurate. I asked for a refund/return and they refused, store credit only. After that experience I really don’t want any other products from this unreliable vendor but I gave it a shot. I returned the original dress, selected an exchange, and they never sent it. They also never processed a $250 “credit” to my account. They are holding the funds hostage until I pay an additional fee to ship the new exchange dress. The new dress was $180, for reference, so not more money. The customer service email is unhelpful and rude, blamed me and my phone for making the dresses look different than real life. They will not take phone calls. Their Google reviews are also turned off because Google has flagged them for fake positive reviews. Truly a disappointment, no integrity.

Hi Bri, Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations, and we appreciate the opportunity to clarify a few points. We understand how important it is for a dress to arrive looking as expected, and we always encourage customers to contact us if there are concerns with color, fit, or style. Our product photos are provided by our designers and vendors, and while we make every effort to represent each dress accurately, variations can occur due to photography lighting, screen settings, and the nature of different fabrics. The gown ordered was the Ashton Gown in Platinum. While the name includes “Platinum,” this color is not intended to be a true bright white. It has a soft champagne/platinum undertone, which is reflected in the product images and is part of the design of the gown. We also want to clarify that our return and exchange policies are available on our website and on each product listing. For eligible returns, customers may choose from the options available under our policy, including store credit or exchanges where applicable. Exchange orders are processed according to the required return and shipping steps, and any applicable shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility as outlined in our policy. We’re sorry that our previous communication did not leave you feeling supported. Our goal is always to provide helpful and respectful service while following the policies that allow us to serve all of our customers fairly. We appreciate your feedback and will continue using customer comments to improve both our products and service.
Found a great dress on clearance unexpectedly! Great customer service, great variety depending on if you want something super fancy or something more low key!
