On 5/3/2026 I ordered a holster from this company for a S&W model 19, 2.5" barrel. Received it about 8 weeks later. It was about an inch too long, when I compared it to a friend's holster made by another company there was at least an inch difference in length. When I contacted these guys, they questioned if I knew what my gun was! then they asked me to measure and send pictures. Having fulfilled their requests was told to send it back and they would issue a refund. They received the holster July 7th, I should have been given a refund effective in that time range. As I write this it's September 5, 2026 and I was just notified that they were shipping my Holster Tuesday September 8, 2026? Called and women basically said HUH? So, I have had no product, they have had my money since May, it's now September and the HUH girl says she's gonna work on it. Clown show.

Ordered a holster for my FN 509 Midsize Tactical, and when it arrived, it was completely unusable. The holster was crushed flat and wouldn't even accept my thinnest-profile handgun. I contacted customer service, and they promptly sent a return label. I received the replacement about a week later, but unfortunately, the fitment issues remained. While I can force the pistol into the holster, the leather is so tight that it knocks the slide out of battery going in, and drawing it requires extreme effort. I attempted to stretch the leather using the standard plastic bag method and left it seated for several days, but it is still far too tight to safely use in a defensive scenario. I've ordered plenty of holsters from them in the past with great results, so it's disappointing to see this level of quality control. Rather than going back and forth a third time, l'll be taking my business elsewhere.

This is the first time I've ordered a custom holster and belt (think it was called a Mexican loop). Researched a lot and settle on Kirkpatrick as a very fine company. The order process - in take was confusing. But, I had my measurements and called the company. I wanted a very nice holster/belt and this was going to cost ~$700. The woman I spoke with advised me on the belt size and I listed my firearm, i.e. a Freedom Arms 83. The belt was too small and the firearm did not fit properly. Spoke with a higher level up and they said they would have recommended a longer belt (not good now) and sent pics of the firearm getting hung up on the sights. He argued it fit when it was about a 1/2" shy of seating properly. Sad but terrible experience. They did refund the entire purchase after a fight (where I would have called my credit card company). But the ordering process was simply terrible for a new customer.

I was disappointed when I received my Leather Lever Wrap. It was far too small for my lever and they forgot to include the string to lace it. I wrote to the support email and received no reply. Not likely to use this company again

Holster I ordered was for a revolver with 1.87 inch barrel. The one I received was for a revolver with a 3.5 inch barrel. Needless to say, it was a horrible fit. Customer service will not respond. Challenged the charge on my Mastercard. Buyer beware!

So, did an online order back before Christmas: Kirkpatrick Hidden Defense IWB Holster Quantity: 1 0 Color: hand-dyed-brown Configuration: right-handed Gun Manufacturer: Glock Gun Model: G27 Notes: with Trijicon RMR Also ordered a B-55 Belt - 1.5 Straight - Model B55. Total was just under 300 bucks. Called today ( five weeks after) to check status. The rep on the phone tells me they cut the leather for the belt, so it shouldn't be much longer. I asked what about the holster, and I swear she says "What holster?" she starts digging, and finally finds the order. Then says, "We don't make that model for red dot sight equipped weapons." I then wanted to know why I was only finding this out after they had had my money for over five weeks? "Oh, sorry, I can refund what you paid for the holster." Nope, refund it all, immediately, or I will just dispute the charge. Which they did. I then received an email saying: "In regards to the shipping time frame, apologies for the oversight in reaching out to you regarding the availability of the item you ordered. Your order was received while we were closed for the Christmas and New Years holidays and upon or return when sending out notifications on changes needed to be made to orders, your order was somehow overlooked. While we are usually very good about catching notes such as yours, human error does occur." Think twice about purchasing from this outfit. I sure won't ever again.

Well, I placed a review yesterday. I deleted it because I felt that maybe they were going to stand by their product and their organization issued a refund to a bank account that I closed a while back. I tried to explain this to this organization, but the stick by policy that is unfair and I may have to wait an additional 10 days from my bank to receive these funds. I called them today. They see nothing has come in yet $260 to out the window. In my opinion I review the other day somebody said they can’t think of a better leather holster company Than this one I don’t believe it Galco is so much better. I was stupid too put any kind of faith in a different company after purchasing several quality holes from Galco. I’m going back to them and getting something I like Kirkpatrick leather is not the place I thought there was a certain code for Texans , but I guess Kirkpatrick has their own code wished I had never done business with them

Ordered a holster back on Jan 18, 2024 and paid $250. Eight weeks out I requested for a modification to the holster. Twelve weeks out I finally receive an email from Alexandra saying there is a $12 upcharge for the modification and that they would have it done in 2 more weeks. It's been 14+ weeks and not a word from them. Tried calling them. No answer! I think they are a big scam. I've since disputed both charges and received a credit from my CC company. My recommendation is stay away from them. I've ordered holsters from Craft and Falco. While they are not even located in the US, I received the items in a timely fashion as promised and the holsters are great!
