Would not recommend UPDATE: Owner has denied I'm a customer on google reviews, and contacted me on whatsapp, text and phone to threaten legal action (!) if I do not remove my negative reviews. • Confusing business set up - told 1 company with an owner and manager but actually 2 businesses with 2 owners and bank accounts. • Wrong stone initially delivered; workmen didn't have a job spec so didn't realise. Was rectified when I noted. Had agreed patio would be laid 2 brick courses below damp proof course as per building regulations. Patio initially was laid higher than that - on the damp proof course. Subsequently relaid lower. Path base initially built too high, suggested cutting my shed door to fix it. Was rectified. After grouting, there were multiple residual resin marks that wouldn’t wash off. I had before and after photos showing this clearly but the owner repeatedly told me they were natural markings of the stone. Did agree to try and clean off. Partially worked. Multiple issues with laying of the step Left concrete marks on the driveway/door and scratched kitchen tiles. Pushy follow-up call for full payment under 30 minutes after invoicing, despite outstanding work. Workmen were very polite, had good ideas and were keen to get it right for me. Unfortunately, most of the time highlighting these repeated errors higher up resulted in being made to feel like I was the problem and that they were doing me a favour by fixing them. Despite this paid in full prior to all work completed. Despite some efforts to remove residual marks, I had lost confidence in the process and ended up walking away and will have to consider further assessment/work by another company.

⭐ 1-Star Review – Jesmond Paving Unfortunately, my experience with Jesmond Paving has been extremely disappointing. We agreed on a driveway project, paid approximately half of the agreed price upfront, and expected the work to be completed within a reasonable timeframe. Seven to ten days was the timescale given. Big issue within the first couple of days as the excavator went through the mains power cable to the house, leaving us without power for several hours. However, the project experienced repeated delays, despite our formally raising concerns about the lack of progress. The job remains incomplete on week 12 of works. We are left with basically a building site instead of a driveway. Promises to arrive to complete work repeatedly left unfulfilled. Ultimately, the contractor withdrew from the project, leaving us with an incomplete driveway and the inconvenience of having to engage another company to finish the work. We have since received quotations of £7,000 and £12,000 to complete the resin section alone. What is particularly frustrating is that we are now responsible for the additional cost, disruption, and uncertainty involved in completing a project for which we had already made a substantial payment. I strongly recommend that anyone considering using Jesmond Paving carefully review our experience and ensure that they have comprehensive written agreements and appropriate protections in place before paying a substantial deposit. Use a company who are happy to be paid on completion of the work.
