James Leather was built on a simple belief: leather goods should be tough enough to handle your life and honest enough to improve with age. We make bags, wallets, jackets, and accessories for men and women who want the real thing. Not fast fashion with a leather label. Not bonded material that cracks after a year. Full-grain leather, crafted to develop character the more you use it — the kind of goods that get passed down, not thrown out. Every product in the James Leather collection is designed around durability first. The stitching, the hardware, the cut — everything is chosen to hold up under daily use without sacrificing how it looks. Rugged doesn't mean rough. It means built right. We serve customers across the United States with fast shipping and a team that takes customer service seriously. If something isn't right with your order, we make it right — no runaround, no fine print. James Leather isn't for everyone. It's for the person who's tired of replacing things and ready to own something that lasts. If that's you, you're in the right place. Explore the full collection at jamesleather.com.

Thank you so much for your review, Rawle! I am so happy to hear that your bag is working for you!
It started out a bit choppy but as with most challenges it is the response that makes all the difference. I ordered a Leather computer bag and when I received it the size was all wrong for me. I was a bit frustrated because I didn't feel that the photo matched the actual bag. This is where the service kicked in. I sent a message and got a response right away from Gitte. Long story short she was fabulous. She arranged the return and helped me find the "perfect" bag for me. Her followup was fast and she was very understanding around my frustration. She made sure I got the right bag and quickly.

Thank you so much for your honest feedback, Doug! I am so happy Gitte was able to help you, are top priority is customer satisfaction!
Ordering the sling bag was simple and convenient. The pictures, along with the product description, provided enough information to make my purchase with confidence. I received tracking updates. The package arrived in a reasonable amount of time. The bag is of great quality. I like the color of the bag. The bag is as advertised. Also, leather always smells great! I would purchase from James Leather again.

Thank you so much, Steven! Your kind words about our customer service mean the world to our small team. We truly appreciate you taking the time to share them. Gitte / James Leather
What a terrific experience! After connecting with half a dozen other leather companies, I hit upon James Leather. Team Member, Ms. Gitte Davis, was absolutely amazing. She answered all my questions, and emails, in a timely, professional, helpful and friendly manner. I would not have chosen James Leather, were it not for Gitte and the excellent selection of leather goods. The quality of their goods is outstanding and Gitte's customer service is extraordinary. Try them. I will be back again! Anthony M. from Florida

Thank you so much, Anthony — this genuinely made our day. We're so glad you found us, and even happier that Dr. Ruane will be enjoying his gift soon. Thank you for choosing James Leather and taking the time out of your day to leave us a review!
The first bag I ordered had a small flaw and wasn't quite right. I am glad I spoke up about it as the follow-up customer service was amazing. Otherwise, I would not have known. Gitte gave me the chance to look through some other options and what I settled on turned out to be the exact bag I was looking for in the first place. I absolutely love it. There were check-ins and updates along the way, and she really worked to make it right. This is not the most expensive purchase anyone has ever made, but James Leather got a really satisfied and loyal customer out of it. Thank you!

Peter, thank you so much for taking the time to write this. I'm really glad we could turn the flaw into a bag you actually love. That's exactly how it should go. Enjoy it, and thanks for being patient while we sorted it out!
The overall quality is superb! The craftsmanship is top notch. I truely only have one issue that had i looked closer I woukd not have purchased. The magnetic snaps are really cheap and they do not hold well at all. I dont understand why regular snaps were not used. Overall complaint. Product itself its truly amazing. Get rid of the magnetic snaps and use traditional snaps. Thanks

Hi, thank you so much for taking the time to leave this feedback! Really glad to hear you're happy with the craftsmanship overall. You're not the first person to bring up the magnetic snaps, and it's honestly fair feedback — we're looking into it. Appreciate you flagging it so specifically, it helps us figure out what to prioritize. Thanks again for the kind words on the quality, it means a lot.
