I purchased the Complete Fingerstyle course, and it has been a great experience. I have been messing around with guitar for 20 years off and on, I have taken lessons at a local music store, and I have taken multiple guitar classes in college. None of my previous experiences have taught me as much as I have learned in the beginner module. I am still in the beginner module and working on the techniques and songs as of today. One of the things that I find most valuable is that I can continue to reference the material, instead of getting a 30-minute lesson each week that I may lose 15 minutes reviewing what I was working on the last week, and the one-time payment is not a recurring cost. Joe has really lined this lesson plan out in a way that makes sense to me, so I am sure it will work for you!

If your interest is in recording acoustic guitar, you will not find a more comprehensive, yet focused course on how to optimally record the instrument anywhere else on the internet. The knowledge shared in this course is worth many, many times its cost. I have been creating a home studio and assembling the pieces over time but I simply could not find a holistic, and yet practical, description of what is important to know and how it all fits together until I found this course - its not theoretical, Joe Robinson actually demonstrates how to optimally record an acoustic guitar. The course structure and short topic videos are excellent both for learning and reference. Joe Robinson has condensed his recording experience and knowledge and shared it in this course for our benefit. As a student, I am eternally grateful to him for it.

Perfect info for a porch-picker! This info has been great to help decide what I really "need" or want for playing. Helped me to quell the G.A.S. one can be susceptible to because of YouTube and such. Joe Robinson describes his professional state of the art to record, edit, mix and master acoustic guitar playing. He explains step by step, recommends many different tools and rates their importance and benefits for the result. Good tools that are cheaper and also high-end equipment is being recommended. Many little examples are played and recorded to compare the sounds of different equipment and different methods of recording. He speaks and plays in his personal "Nashville world" and displays lots of knowledge gained in local studios. Joe also gives examples what didn´t work well for him. To watch him play and record professionally is improving my own playing. As a bonus I`ve learned how to engage a world class mixing and/or mastering engineer for my recordings if I want to. Furthermore shows a cheap and easy way to upload my music to many streaming services. My questions were personally answered by Joe within one day. I´m really happy about this course! For me it is full of knowledge, motivation and inspiration.
