In and out
I had texted with Will, and he happened to be who greeted me as I came in to check out a pre-owned watch from their website. It was my first visit there, and being greeted by a serious, armed security guard was a bit intimidating, and I admit I haven’t been to another watch shop that looks like this one. I didn’t walk around and explore, but while it was very clean, classy, and warm inside, it felt more like an office, which was a little confusing (or refreshing, I can’t tell). Will was kind, though he admitted they were very busy, and I didn’t get much of his time. It felt more professionally transactional than I was used to, and I left after what seemed like a brief whirlwind. Would definitely go back and shop there again, but none of it was what I had expected.

Response from Investment Watches· Oct 5, 2026
Thank you for the thoughtful and honest feedback. You are absolutely right—we want Investment Watches to feel different from the traditional jewelry-store experience. Our showroom was designed around privacy, security, transparency, and access to an extensive selection of exceptional watches. The armed security presence is there to protect our clients, team, and inventory, although we understand it can feel intimidating on a first visit. That said, being different should never mean feeling rushed or overlooked. We’re sorry that our busy day limited the time Will could spend with you and made the experience feel more transactional than intended. We truly appreciate your willingness to return and would love the opportunity to give you a more relaxed visit, show you around, and provide the experience we want every client to receive.
