I read some of the reviews online, I think people might be confused but keep in mind Innovative Partners is not the one selling the health insurance plans, they are the billing and customer service company.

Not the worst experience honestly I was a little nervous after signing up but I called the customer service number on the back of my card and apart from the 8 minute hold time they answered all my questions and were super patient with me.

Intially I'll admit I was skeptical and confused about some of the pricing but when I called customer service they explained the benefits to me and made me feel much more at ease.

My experience was pretty good, the process is relatively automated after you speak to an agent and I got all my documents online and in the mail.

Unfortunately, this company has not lived up to the expectations when I first signed up for coverage. My service providers have had great difficulty in verifying insurance coverages and long wait times on the phone for customer service to submit the claims. I recently received a bill for a covered procedure (colonoscopy) directly from the Dr. This procedure was done over 6 months ago, and the insurance portion has still not been paid, thus, the Dr. just billed me directly. It has taken me several calls to connect the Dr. to the claims department and still no resolution. I am beyond frustrated and will just keep attempting to resolve it so that the insurance pays out what it is supposed to, based on my policy.

While Innovative Partners strives to deliver meaningful experiences to every one of our consumers please note that as with any health benefit plan the claims adjudication process can be rather extensive and requires multiple checks and balances to ensure claims are paid in a complaint manner. Worse insurance company ever!!!! I can't believe my husband lost 2 toes and has a heart attack and nobody takes your insurance plan !!and I had to pay 1300 for prescriptions because our card don't work,ALSO the doctor office wants insurance cards not on the phone,just all around backwards when you have an emergency!please shouldn't have to deal with running around with the insurance,very unsatisfied
