Thank you for your honest review Don! Yes, we do provide a slightly recessed skins for Macbook pros, with a tiny margin around the outside of the lid. This serves the purpose of making install easier, in case the skin is ever so slightly misaligned or stretched on install, it will still fit and not overlap. It also serves the purpose of keeping the edges of the skin from being caught on bags, clothing, etc, and peeling over time. Hello Bryant, thank you for your honest feedback. With the air release adhesive, bubbles should come out with gentle pressing and perhaps a bit of heat from a hair dryer.
