i love most things about this app. there are a few glitches that really need to change. like blocking a job for a whole day (not an event) a job. also the constant emails to the customers it gets to be a bit much(they complain )

Simple software package that has all the features I need to run my business!

Great app for my business. Really helps me stand out from the rest.

Overall I’m pleased with it number one I’d like to be able to talk to somebody over the phone rather than through the chat robotic system when I have a problem or question that is definitely number one there are a few things but right now that of course be number one and off the top my head I think it would help having when giving estimates a reminder after the estimates giving to have it automatically scheduled for the next week to 10 days to have a follow up call on the schedule for say three days and another week awayFor the next follow up maybe up to two weeks something like that to where it’s easier for us pros to not have to think so much as to scheduling that and just have it automated for us to follow up on a daily schedule plus I want to work on my price guide. I do want to continue using a house call pro as I’ve been I’m just trying to help it grow to be an even better I hope there’s no offense to my review

its expensive and missing so many apps

I am the owner of a small plumbing service business. I have two trucks…one plumbing employee and myself in the field and my fiancée is the office administrator. I was growing and knew that my old way of doing business was effective, yet non-scalable. As I grew I couldn’t be dispatching via text the night before and couldn’t have paper invoices that had to be manually entered into Excel and then filed. I was referred to Housecall Pro by a colleague. After checking it out, I was super skeptical. I absolutely hated the fine print and didn’t trust the customer service end. He reassured me that the system was complete and easy to use. I signed up for the online demo. Needless to say, I signed up and have been using the system for two full months now. I have taken the final plunge and transitioned fully from scheduling in Google Calendar, to keeping Google Calendar AND Housecall Pro, to now going 100% Housecall Pro. Pros: Dispatching made simple. Website review generation. Electronic invoices, no more paper. Customer database, records, history. App usable from iPad and phone. Customer support. (yup, a pro) Online credit card payments from customers. Easy credit card processing. Estimates easy to create, send and convert to jobs. Cons: Price was hard to pull the trigger at first Customer support hours are west coast time zone. Web version is different from app. All in all I am SUPER glad I made the move. I went from a “man-in-a-van” to a modern company in under two months. The software, like anything new, took a little time to learn, but after some repetition it becomes second nature. Flawless, no…but way better than paper invoices, filing cabinets and repetitive data entry.

This app works pretty well for our Air System Cleaning company. I wish they would add automatic reminders for the customers a day or two before scheduled appointments, make it easier to disable notifications without having to click so many times and again to turn them back on, a way to rearrange order of line items in estimates and invoices and add a place for notes to customer rather than adding a line item for it.
