They're ok
11/6/19 EDIT: After 6+ months with R2F the initial excitement of the relationship has worn off, and more often than not we find ourselves deflated from our experience. While we rent a dedicated server, frequent DDoS attacks on other machines in their location were still able to cause interruptions in our networking, and complaints about the interruptions were met initially with denial... then several months later a fix. The company is young, far too small, and inexperienced with customer care. Once their new location opened I requested an upgrade to a better dedicated server and, since I knew they were busy, provided a deadline 2 weeks in the future, which I was told was not a problem. The day came and went, and when questioned about it I was simply told "I have no news". When pressed, voila, a server magically appeared and I was told it was the only one. When trying to negotiate with the price I was given no flexibility, then once I was locked in they announced a sale on the same type because they have a few they're trying to move. I get how sales work, I get they may have had more stock come in, but when I pointed out what felt to me like an injustice (something that previous server companies I've used have worked with me on), the actual response was "Do you do that at WalMart if they put a product on sale weeks after you bought it?" There's no finesse in their handling of customers, and the professionalism that I came to expect from previous experiences renting servers is definitely lacking with R2F. They are experiencing growing pains and we have certainly been feeling it with them. The product is adequate, and I know that Wyatt works quite hard and does eventually try to fix the mistakes, which is part of why I won't switch away just yet. But depending on your needs and resources you might have a better experience overall paying a few bucks more for a more experienced company, and part of me wishes I had. Original review: Still a new customer with R2F -- been with them for about 2 months now, and so far have been impressed. Prices are great, and Wyatt went above and beyond what I would have expected from a dedicated server host in terms of assistance with getting things set up. No problems with the hardware yet *knock on wood* and my users are all happy with the much improved experience.

In response to your recently updated review, we'd like the chance to address a few things claimed within the review. As always, we appreciate legitimate and well-written feedback. What we don't appreciate is criticism without real context about our solutions and communications with customers - something we generally pride ourselves on but admittedly don't always get right. We'll be the first ones to admit that, for a few months earlier this year, our DDoS protected customers were struggling. This was through no fault of our own - at our "legacy" facility, which your first server was located in, we were forced to use third-party mitigation solutions. Because of issues with Psychz, we were forced to quickly put together a solution with USDedicated. While it was far better than the quality of service provided by Psychz, it clearly wasn't perfect, and it took us longer than we would have liked to investigate and fix stability issues. We have fixed this issue with the deployment of our all-new West Chicago facility, which benefits ALL of our DDoS protected customers. Secondly, when we "had no news", we meant just that. There were no hard updates on the situation because of less-than-ideal communications from our own partners. We admit that the initial deployment was a little bit messy - between high order loads, constant communications from other customers, and the general issues related to deploying an all-new facility, we weren't able to maintain the level of customer service that we both pride ourselves on and are generally known to our customers for. To be clear, we were largely stocked out during the period in which we deployed your server. Our communication earlier today was started with hostility from your end. You accused us of "bullshit"ing you because we chose to start a sale weeks after your deployment date. Stock levels change. We've deployed multiple shipments of servers in that time. It has been our company policy, since April 20th 2014, that (1) customers cannot replace existing services with on-sale servers and (2) that we will not, under normal circumstances, apply sale pricing to existing services. This is extraordinarily common in the industry, and we would be hard-pressed to find another provider that would willingly do either of those. Thank you for the updated review - we legitimately appreciate feedback, ideas, and suggestions. But context and information is important for other readers to get a better idea of the situation.
