Homes for Heroes is the nation’s largest hero savings program, built on a simple mission: to give back to the people who give so much to our communities every day.Since 2009, we’ve helped serve more than 85,000 heroes (firefighters, law enforcement, military members, healthcare professionals, and teachers) while giving back over $200 million in Hero Rewards through home buying, selling, and refinancing. Our impact extends beyond the heroes we serve. We also help real estate and mortgage professionals build meaningful, purpose-driven businesses. By joining Homes for Heroes, affiliates have the opportunity to grow their business while making a real difference, connecting with local heroes, strengthening their communities, and creating lasting relationships rooted in service and trust.Through the Homes for Heroes Foundation, we’re able to give back in even more meaningful ways. The Foundation provides grants to heroes facing unexpected hardships, helping with critical needs like housing, medical care, and essential living expenses. It’s another way we honor the people who serve, especially when they need support the most.At Homes for Heroes, we believe doing good and doing business go hand in hand. I've never considered myself a hero. I was in the service during a non-combat era and considered myself and those who served at the same time, ( the forgotten military) because we served during peace time and had no benefits. Homes for heros made me feel like I belonged again to the United States military and I was a brother. I want to thank homes for heroes for making me feel proud to have served instead of hiding that I served during peace time.

This is Jaye Pinckney not Briley. I just want to say ever since I joined Homes for Heroes it gave me a purpose to do more. After working with so many clients and never being informed myself as a military wife of the program. I was determined to really get the word out. I will continue to do just that😊

Being a part of Homes for Heroes for nearly 15 years have been one of the most rewarding and impactful experiences of my real estate career. As one of the top-performing Realtors in the network, I am honored to share how deeply this organization has influenced not only my business, but also my purpose in serving the community. Helping heroes achieve homeownership, while providing them with real savings and support creates a level of fulfillment that goes beyond a transaction. What has made the biggest impact on my business is the authentic and lasting relationships that are built through this program. The foundation of my business today is largely referral-based, which I believe is a direct reflection of the trust, care, and value that Homes for Heroes helps us deliver to every client we serve. They are not just clients; they become lifelong relationships and advocates. For Realtors considering joining the network, I can confidently say this program is about much more than generating business, it is about aligning your career with purpose, community impact, and service. The opportunities to grow both personally and professionally are tremendous when you lead with contribution and genuinely care for the people you serve. Hi my name is Kathy Colkitt, I'm a branch manager loan officer for 30 years. Unfortunately 3 years ago is when I heard about Homes for Heroes, meaning I would have done at my entire career had I realized not only it was away for me to give back It would also mean how many hundreds probably thousands of heroes I would have been able to have helped in the mortgage process. I've always been a person who gives and I thoroughly love giving back to heroes, going to fire stations talking visiting seeing how their life is, police officers in a store out in their car or at a union meeting and sharing the free benefit that they have as a way to say thank you. My astonished amazement is how surprised everyone whether it's an education, medical, first responder or veteran are surprised when someone hands them lifesavers and says thank you for being a lifesaver. The words thank you seem to not be something they hear very often or at all. What a beautiful way to do my day every day with putting smiles on other people's faces by simply saying thank you. Is Homes for Heroes worth it financially? Undoubtedly yes. More than likely now about 90% of my pipeline is a hero in one of our areas. I am alone loan officer meaning only one have been for 30 years and can you imagine if there were more of just one of me out there how many millions of heroes we could help. This is not a lead generation although I appreciate the leads majority don't pan out. What I appreciate is the smiles on the hero's faces when you say thank you. It definitely has put an extra breath in my steps each day that I go out and talk to the Hero community members. And the best part of all is finding a partner who wants to market the same as you do, is so excited about homes for Heroes as you are, and wants to help as many heroes as possible. I love what I do and I love Homes for heroes. Kathy

Kathy, This is exactly what Homes for Heroes is all about. Your story hits on something really important. This isn’t just about transactions, it’s about impact. The way you show up for heroes, whether it’s visiting fire stations, talking with officers, or simply saying “thank you,” is what makes this program so powerful. You’re not just helping people through the mortgage process but you’re making them feel seen and appreciated in a way they don’t often experience. It’s also incredibly telling that 90% of your pipeline is now hero-based. That doesn’t happen by accident. It speaks to the authenticity of how you approach your work and the trust you’ve built in your community. We’re grateful to have someone with your experience, heart, and energy representing this program. Thank you for everything you do for our heroes. - Homes for Heroes Support Team
