Poor Customer Service and Frustrating Experience

I had a very poor and frustrating experience with Homerilla and would not recommend ordering from them. Before purchasing, I relied on the company’s guidance regarding the appropriate mounting and sizing for bamboo shades. After the order was placed and an issue arose, the company’s position changed and contradicted the guidance I had been given before purchasing. As a result, I was left with a product that did not work as expected, despite following their direction. What made this experience especially frustrating was the amount of back and forth required just to try to get the issue addressed. I repeatedly explained that my concern was not simply about redesigning or remeasuring, but about the fact that I made the purchase based on Homerilla’s own pre-purchase guidance. Instead of acknowledging that issue directly, the responses continued to redirect me back to redesign or remeasurement options for the same product they later indicated would not fit my windows. The company only offered a partial refund, which did not feel like an appropriate resolution given the circumstances. When I continued to ask for the issue to be reviewed more thoroughly and escalated, the responses became repetitive and did not address the core concern. Eventually, I stopped receiving meaningful responses altogether. Overall, this was a disappointing customer service experience with a lot of unnecessary back and forth and no fair resolution. In my opinion, this is a very poor way to handle a customer concern, especially for a custom product where customers are relying on the company’s guidance before placing an order. I would strongly caution others to be very careful before ordering from Homerilla.

Dear Jenelle, Thank you so much for sharing your feedback with us. We're truly sorry to hear that the curtain didn't meet your expectations, and we completely understand how you feel. According to our records, our customer service team asked you to provide the exact window measurements prior to your purchase so we could recommend properly sized roller shades. However, you didn't share the dimensions and placed the order on your own. After receiving the goods, you found the size did not fit. We have offered you several solutions, but none were accepted. We are unsure what resolution you are looking for. Please feel free to contact us promptly if you have any preferred solution in mind. We sincerely appreciate your interest in our products and your valuable feedback. We are committed to providing comprehensive support throughout your home decor journey. Thank you again for your patience and for giving us the opportunity to improve our service experience. Best regards, Homerilla Team
