We bought an automatic pet door and it worked well for about the first year. Not long after their one year warrentee expired we started to have issues. First the battery back up went out. then the motor went bad. Now, about 2 or 3 years after we purchased it and put it in, the main system board is bad. The dog collars also suck. If you buy the small ones the batteries last about a month, regardless of what they claim. The rechargeable ones last about the same and the charging method has its own issues. Its an ultra crappy charger with no indications on when its charging or not except a red or green light. There's no fast charging, just the cheapest thing they could get their hands on. The support is ok, but I might get more done if I wait on hold for the DMV.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We’re very sorry to hear about the issues you’ve encountered over time with both the door components and the collar system. We understand how frustrating it is to invest in a product expecting long-term reliability, especially when problems begin occurring outside of the warranty period. We also appreciate your candid feedback regarding the battery life, charging experience, and support wait times. Comments like yours help us identify where we need to improve both our products and the customer experience. While some components can wear over time depending on usage and environmental conditions, we recognize that your experience has not met expectations. We would still like the opportunity to review your situation further and see if there is anything we can do to help. Please reach out to our support team directly by email at [email protected] with your order information so we can look into possible options. We truly appreciate your honest feedback and the time you spent sharing it.
