High Speed GearReviews of highspeedgear.com

Great overall but would have been nice to not have to email customer service to find out that there were delays with the orders being shipped be cause they were swamped with orders. Its a good reason for a delay in my opinion.

HSGI makes amazing products and I own many from several generations and they all hold up quite well do abuse and have never once failed to do what they're supposed to. As for the products, 5 of 5 stars. I gave a 4 star review because of the wait time. I know that it is possible to include estimated stock levels on websites and sincerely wish that HSGI would include this feature and a way to know that you're basically back ordering. After a month of waiting to see my order had shipped I called to get an update on my order and was informed that items are made to orders and to expect 7 to 8 weeks for a lead time. The website makes no mention of this that I could find. Again, I waited the other month patiently and got my order almost exactly 2 months from the order date.

Finding what I was looking for and ordering was easy. What needs to be improved is after the order has been placed. It was not immediately clear that each pouch is made to order. (That is awesome by the way) When I placed the order I did not receive an email and a check of My Account wasn't clear my order was received. My Account only showed the items I ordered but no reference or order number was listed. Could be a little more clear.

I took a little while to get but it was worth the wait. Very well thought out IFAC.

The belts are well made and are comfortable to wear. It would be nice if the 2 inch duty belt had a cobra buckle option. Either way I can always swap the buckle later. Also, I thought about getting the shoulder straps for the belt but wish there was a more beefy option than the one offered. I wouldn’t mind they offered something with a little bit of padding and 2 inches wide in the shoulder area. I think the current offering is too thin if there a heavy load on the belt. I think an H-harness would be a nice option. If there was I probably would have added it to my initial order. I do wish shipping was faster but the website does mention that shipping can take up to 8 weeks. HSGI held up to that standard (closer to the 8 week mark mind you).

Good customer service, questions were answered/replied to promptly. 4.5 stars. Good quality product, tracking information provided worked. Would be 5 stars, except it took 9 weeks to arrive, and the status said processed until week eight. Would be nice if the status had changed once prior to "processing" to say "payment accepted" or something along those lines. When I talked to a representative around week two, he did confirm it was being made and offered to refund it in order to find a local dealer if I needed it sooner, which I declined.

Your products are absolutely top notch. The only reason you didn’t get 5 stars is the wait times. You have an awesome product just make enough of them to have them on hand.

I do like the quality and functionality of the products I have purchased from High Speed Gear. If I have a problem, it is with a situation where I ordered and item which obviously was not available at the time. After several months, I wrote the company to let them know I was changing my shipping address and gave them the new address. No response. Now I am being advised, some of the items I ordered have been sent to my old address. I will have to pay to have them reshipped to my current address.
