Thank you so much for sharing! We’re delighted to hear that your stepmother loved her basket and that it arrived on time and in great shape. We truly appreciate your kind words and hope to help you again soon!
I got the gift for my loved one and I think it was a very good surprise. The quality and the presentation was 5 star, I take 1 star because I ordered exact delivery date but it arrived earlier. Other than that the delivery was alright and no food items were damaged.

Thank you for the 4-star review and for sharing your experience. We’re glad to hear the gift was a great surprise and that the quality and presentation met your expectations. We’re sorry for the early delivery and understand how important timing can be. We appreciate your feedback and hope to provide an even better experience next time.
Almost nothing in “basket” was as advertised. Cheap substitutes were delivered in a cardboard box not “a classic wicker gift basket” as shown and advertised. I do not see how this cardboard can be an equal value substitute nor can the complete absence of the advertised mug be passed of as a substitute. There was no marmalade and a sausage was I assume substituted for a Brie. Not quite sure for what the bag of crisps and popcorn were substitutes. Outstandingly disappointed with this poor quality very high cost gift. It certainly did not impress the recipients and I felt shamed for sending it when it arrived.

We’re truly sorry to hear how disappointed you were with this order, especially as it was intended to make a positive impression on the recipient. That is never the experience we want our customers to have. While we do allow substitutions when specific items or containers are unavailable, these are meant to be of equal or greater value and appropriate to the overall presentation. It’s clear from your feedback that this expectation was not met, and for that we sincerely apologize. Your comments regarding the packaging and missing items have been shared with our fulfillment team for review. We appreciate you taking the time to provide this feedback, as it helps us improve both quality control and communication going forward. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
If I could give less than one star, I would. Be sure to read the fine print carefully. If you are trying to send a gift to a loved one, there is a strong possibility you will not receive what you ordered. In my experience, substitutions were made without notification, and the replacements were not comparable to the original items. When ordering alcoholic beverages—especially higher-priced bottles—there is no guarantee the recipient will receive a product of similar quality or type. The “like-for-like” substitution policy is concerning, and customers should understand that substitutions are made at the company’s discretion, not necessarily in line with customer expectations. I would strongly recommend reviewing all terms and conditions before placing an order so you are fully aware of how substitutions are handled.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re truly sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations, especially when the gift was intended for someone important to you. As noted in our product descriptions and terms, substitutions may occasionally be necessary due to availability, particularly with specialty and alcoholic items. When this occurs, our goal is always to provide replacements of equal or greater value. That said, we understand that “like-for-like” can sometimes feel subjective, and we regret if the final arrangement did not align with what you had envisioned. We appreciate your comments and take them seriously, as they help us review and improve both our fulfillment process and communication. If you haven’t already, we encourage you to reach out to our customer care team directly with your order details so we can review your concerns more closely. Thank you again for your feedback.
There was a great assortment of baskets to choose from as well as being able to add extras. I am told the wine is very good and was much enjoyed. It was delivered on time, actually a day early. This is the 2nd time I have used this company and I will continue to do so. I had a question and I received an answer within a few hours. Great customer service.

Thank you so much for your wonderful feedback! We’re delighted to hear that you enjoyed the variety of baskets, the option to add extras, and that the wine was well received. We’re also glad the delivery arrived early and that our team was able to assist you promptly. We truly appreciate your continued trust—being your second order means a lot to us. Thank you for choosing Hazeltons, and we look forward to helping you again in the future
They deserve a 0, not a 1 star. I got a $50 gift card to use, had to either pay $50+ or find something less than $30 to avoid their outrageous $20 shipping fee. I picked a 68.99 gift box and added 2x$11.99 sausages and 1x$9.99 cheese. Everything in the order was wrong. They substitute products as they wish, claiming it's part of the "gifting business" and written in the Terms and Conditions (no one reads). The $11.99 extra sausages are actually $4.39 bought from Aldi Do not use this company!

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations. We’d like to clarify a few important points for transparency. Free shipping applies to orders of $100 and above. Orders below this threshold are subject to a shipping fee, which is clearly outlined during checkout before payment is completed. Regarding substitutions, as noted in our Terms and Conditions, substitutions may occasionally occur due to product availability, especially during peak seasons. When substitutions are necessary, they are always made with items of equal or greater value to ensure the overall quality and presentation of the gift is maintained. We also want to note that our products are curated gift items, not direct retail goods. Pricing reflects several factors beyond the item itself, including sourcing, handling, packaging, assembly, and delivery logistics. For this reason, retail store price comparisons are not an accurate reflection of the cost structure involved in gift basket preparation and fulfillment. That said, we truly regret that the experience fell short of what you expected, and your feedback has been shared internally for review. Our goal is always to deliver a gift that reflects care, value, and quality. Thank you for your time and for bringing your concerns to our attention.
