if you spent over $8,000 dollars and got Ai created words on the book design you sent them, and almost nothing else, would you feel like you got a good deal? Not only are they bad at what they do (what little they do that isn't straight AI), but they don't follow through on promises and then vanish when the chips are on the line. Possibly the worst company I have ever dealt with in any capacity, top to bottom.

1 year, and they delivered a book cover and completely abandoned me at the launch. 90% of what they do is Ai, and even that was unusable. Their lawyers were so ashamed, they gave me an uncontested refund. Still ruined my books' first opportunity and piled an unbelievable amount of work on my shoulders. The worst thing is, they truly, to a man, didn't care.

Haymarket Publishing isnt what I was told by my salesperson. I point blank asked if this was an american company and Alex said yes. He said they have offices in Dallas near me. Incorrect. They are a UK company. When they contacted me they were all Indians with accents I could barely understand. They wanted a copy of my manuscript which I thought was suspicious since I filled out an extensive form on what my book is about. They wanted access to my marketing hub. Amazon has a feature to allow you to invite someone to have access to your hub. I sent it to them three times and they claimed they never received it. I sent it to another email of mine and it arrived no problem. Then they started pestering me for my email and passcode to my full amazon account. Over and over they asked me and I refused. Im not giving that to anyone since it had all my cc info, contacts, addresses, purchase history, and prescriptions. They offered to provide a non-disclosure agreement which is of no use for someone who wants to steal my information. It was laughable. I finally got extremely upset and called their main office number to report the people I was working with (who was in a different time zone). He assured me that he would talk to them and get the situation settled. The people called me back and within 30 seconds started pestering me for my password again. Ive never been so frustrated. On and on this went . They just wouldnt let up. I called their main office back and told them I didnt want to work with their organization and to refund my payment. So now this guy wouldnt give up either. He kept trying to convince me to stay and work with a new team or just provide my password. Seriously I was shaking in frustration on the phone with them. I finally had to threaten legal action if they didnt redund my money and hung up on him. Approach this company with extreme caution if you decide to do business with them. I dont believe the other reviews based on my experience with them. I think they are scammers trying to steal information. Dont provide them access or give them your passwords.

Hi Ms. McDonald, We’re extremely sorry for the experience you had with our team. We are confident that they followed our standard procedures and attempted to provide you with the best service possible. Since you’ve raised several concerns about our work ethic and processes, we would like to clarify a few key points: 1. Our team requested your manuscript because this is the basic requirement for developing an accurate optimization strategy. A brief form is just for clarity and cannot provide the depth needed for keyword placement, competitor analysis, or category alignment. This is standard practice across the publishing industry. Without the manuscript, any optimization would be guesswork… something we refuse to do because it would result in the very outcome you accusing us of: unprofessional representation of your book. 2. The invitations you sent were generated from a section of your Amazon account that does not provide the permissions required for Amazon Ads campaign setup. Only invitations sent through the Amazon Advertising Console’s user-management area are valid for providing external access. Because the invites were coming from an incorrect section, they never reached our team. This was explained multiple times, as it is a platform limitation not an oversight or error on our part. 3. Even with the repeated misunderstanding of Amazon’s systems, our team stayed patient and clarified the process step-by-step to make sure you were supported. When you decided not to continue, we immediately processed a full refund. This exactly demonstrates our professionalism. Your statements show multiple misunderstandings of our workflow and unethical behavior. This might be your first time working with a professional agency, which may explain why the standard procedures felt unfamiliar or why you assumed we were “after your data.” Our processes and permissions requests were strictly aligned with Amazon’s official requirements and nothing more. We wish you success in your publishing journey and hope this clarifies the situation for anyone reading your review. Sincerely, Haymarket Publishers

I, as a small business owner, 10/10 recommend Haymarket to all new entrepreneurs who do not have a pathway yet. I would suggest you get in touch with Steven and tell him what you have in mind, and then let HM do their work. Truly amazing services.

Being an author is a difficult task, and what's more difficult is to be a published author. While in the middle of my manuscript, it hit me that I'd have to contact official people and get professional help in order to publish my book, Dare; To Do something Different. I came across Haymarket and decided to give them a try. Roy and his team are legit the best at this business of completing and publishing books.
