Hancock's of PaducahReviews of hancocks-paducah.com

I always thought Hancock’s was a great fabric company. Many of my Quilt Group has shopped here for years. I’ve had horrible experiences in for four straight orders & is the one I’m dealing with now shows up I will never order from them again. First order never came after receiving my order verification. They do not email you the status & if you find something on line you can’t interact because everything is greyed out. I finally canceled because I couldn’t believe then that they would send it if it was restocked. Second order received verification but nothing else for weeks. Third order same. Fourth order In should have been smarter. After two emails to them I received one today saying basically they’d send it when they could. Terrible company when there are so many good ones out there.

This is the worst place to buy fabric from! If they don't have what you ordered, they don't even have the decency to send an email to see if you want the order; they send it anyway. Terrible customer service when you call. The woman who answers the phone clearly hates her job by the way she sounds. Never ordering from them again.

I used to spend hundreds and hundreds of my hard-earned dollars here. They are not what they used to be in terms of service. Read through the negative reviews on Google, too, as that gives a clear, concise picture of what you might encounter - both online and in-person experiences are detailed there. They sometimes have terrific sales, but their "newly improved" site experience must have some serious dysfunction in the inventory module. When ordering something that has 64 yards in stock upon your order, then you find out: They shipped the rest of your order, that you ordered basically to get free shipping (vs. $17.95 for an under $40 order), without informing you that you aren't getting what you actually needed. Really? Your "new" system is so bad that you are off by a quantity of 64? Or, is it your staff that is too lazy to update quantities, ascertain how that might present an issue for online sales? I take credit for being partially at fault here - I had stopped shopping here a year ago due to customer service and site issues. Decided to give them another chance. Fool me once...well, you know.

I received the wrong fabric so I called. I had doubts but their response was above and beyond. I don't usually do reviews, but I had to commend their service. Fed X showed up the next day with a return label for the wrong fabric. The very next day, two days later, I received the correct fabric. I was impressed with their response.

I recently had a rather frustrating experience with Hancock's of Paducah, and I feel compelled to share my thoughts. I made a purchase from their online store and, due to unforeseen circumstances, needed to return the order. While their return policy states a processing time of 10-14 days, my ordeal has stretched out for an astonishing 40-50 days, and I still haven't received my payment. The primary issue lies not in the delay itself but in the complete lack of responsiveness from Hancock's of Paducah's customer service team. I've sent numerous emails seeking clarification and resolution, but I have received no response whatsoever. This disregard for customer inquiries and concerns is both disappointing and unprofessional. As a customer who values transparency, prompt communication, and adherence to stated policies, this experience has left me thoroughly dissatisfied. It's essential for businesses to honor their commitments and maintain open lines of communication, especially when issues arise. While I've had positive experiences with Hancock's of Paducah in the past, this recent encounter has left a bitter taste in my mouth. I hope that they take this feedback constructively and work towards improving their customer service and issue resolution processes. It's crucial for any business to prioritize customer satisfaction and maintain a strong reputation. In conclusion, I would advise potential customers to exercise caution when dealing with Hancock's of Paducah, especially regarding returns and issue resolution. Based on my recent experience, there are evident shortcomings in their customer service department that need to be addressed promptly.
