‘We no longer roll out software’
Karoo 2 was good for a while. Then the next model came up, and hammerhead abandonded their existing customers. There are massive glitches, for instance: the position arrow in the map completely disapears mid ride. Or, when is there, it gets completely covered every time there is a turning indication or a hill profile. Yet, the response I from the team is “we no longer roll out software feature updates to the Karoo 2 unit”. It is also shocking that Hammerhead does not enable compatibility between the headset and SRAM (Force/Red) given it’s a simple development, and SRAM is the parent company. After 4 years with Hammerhead I had enough: when product developers abandon their users, users abandon the products.
