At first, I absolutely loved this machine. Every so often I would get the message to "clean needle." I would clean, flush, and descale with the water/vinegar solution as recommended. After about 3 months, I continue to get error messages saying "clean needle." After cleaning, flushing, descaling, unplugging to reset and doing everything suggested, the k-cup portion of the machine doesn't work...at all. I've only had it for 3 months! I'm thoroughly convinced all the positive reviews are from buyers' initial impressions and not from any sort of extended use. DO NOT buy it. You will regret it.

I purchased a Hamilton Beach steam iron that looked and felt very high quality — unfortunately, the steam lever did not work properly from the start. The lever is supposed to adjust from “off” to “little steam” to “full steam,” but mine only went from “off” to “on,” with no variation in between. After using it for about a month, I contacted Hamilton Beach customer service. I was told they would send me a replacement, but that I’d need to pay $14.99 for shipping and handling. When I checked the warranty information that came in the box, I did see that clause — but that detail was not mentioned anywhere when I purchased the iron from Bed Bath & Beyond. So, now I have to pay extra just to receive a properly working iron — something I already paid for in the first place. That doesn’t feel right. Most reputable companies I’ve dealt with provide a prepaid return label and replace defective products at no cost. To make matters worse, I was instructed to cut the cord and discard the iron rather than return it. You’d think Hamilton Beach would want to examine what went wrong, but apparently, they don’t. All in all, this experience shows me that Hamilton Beach does not truly stand behind their products. I won’t be buying from them again.

I ordered from the Hamilton Beach web site additional espresso maker parts that did not work. As they arrived after I had left for a 3 month trip, I was told when I arrived home and found that they would not honor a warranty on a their own product bought off their own website. I will not buy any Hamilton Beach product again, as you cannot even get guaranteed parts from them.

Purchased a Hamilton Beach product through Amazon. It was an electric can opener. After 7 months, the lever to push down the Can opener snapped off and in order to get a new one replaced they want to charge the shipping which is ridiculous at $30 and they will not let me pick one up anywhere. I don't understand why you have to pay for shipping for something that is under warranty? If the product fails, it should not be another charge for the customer to get what they should have gotten in the first place, a product that stands up to the warranty and works

Well, I purchased a Hamilton Beach coffee to go machine. And I’ve been trying to get a replacement part for quite some time. First of all they have no customer service line and then the line number that they give you is only to recall and they weren’t very helpful, don’t know whether the park could be in two weeks or two years so I guess that’s their way of getting us to buy a new coffee maker from . Very disappointed that the coffee basket is not available and has not been.

Looks great but never gets warm enough. We bought the stainless steel maker with the pod single use. It’s so unfortunate that this coffee maker failed all the way around. The customer service lacks everything! I don’t think they read my return/exchange request. It was a simple we “don’t do returns on unopened or used products”. Wait…I would t know that the stainless steel machine didn’t get warm unless I tried it. So unfortunate! This machine was to be used a a second machine and mostly for single serve. We have a LOT of company year round and needed a backup. Never again!! Should have bought on Amazon!! At least I could have returned or exchanged. I went directly to the website. Big mistake.

1) Wanted to register my newly purchased product, but the site won't accept my registration and keeps asking for a required field that DOES NOT exist. 2) Also wanted to review the product: programmable defrost slow cooker. I bought this to replace a 30 year-old Rival Crockpot that gave up the ghost. Negatives: the removable crock is impossible to clean. I made a chicken broth soup 1st day and it stained. Really? And the lid is so light that the bubbling/condensation kept lifting it, spraying liquid all over the counter and floor - it was NOT filled to the top, but 2" below the top. Positives: pretty to look at, programming is easy.

I purchased a stand mixer. The wire whisk broke and so far I have unable to replace that part. Contacted Hamilton Beach and they send a letter saying that they would get back with me soon. As of now, more than a month, I have not received or heard nothing from them.
