They provided fast response to help diagnose the issue and send a replacement collar under warranty.

Had to relpace this collar 3x in less than 6 months. The first collar the battery port corroded and stopped charging. The second collar the halo light would not turn off. The third collar it just stopped working. No lights, won't turn on nothing. Have called these people at least 15 times-I am assured over and over again that management will call me. They don't!! They forgot to ship my latest replacement collar, its been over a week and still nothing. I get the run around, generic emails, literally they are running me in circles and they just don't care. it's that simple. So good luck to anyone that has to work with this miserable company!!

Waste of my time and money. The Collar GPS is wildly inaccurate and inconsistent. It has sent warnings to the dog when he is sitting on his bed in the house. Collar states GPS strength is good, yet pauses feedback so it is useless outside as it sends no warnings to the dog when they are actually warranted. Multiple calls with customer support to trouble shoot the problem. I have requested a total refund but since trouble shooting with customer support has taken us past the replacement policy no luck..

We spent $1200 on 2 of these collars, and they don't come with a wall plug to charge them. I called Halo, they said "You can buy those an any retail store". Excuse me? I have to spend more money? You've got to be kidding me. I can't even use them now! Also, we chose these over Spot On because they come with a beacon. Not any more apparently. Neither of the Halo 4 collars we bought came with one. The app works well, and they were easy to set up. BUT, one of the collars went rogue and ran across the yard (even though my dog is standing right next to me) and it zapped him over and over again. We had to take it off to stop it from hurting him. Now the collar doesn't seem to know where the fence is, and zaps him when he's in the middle of the yard. Not sure how I'm going to be able to train him. The other collar is working fine.

The actual product itself and the app work well. The issue we have is that the collar loosens over time, we had to tighten it many times. While I was at work the collar died and last pinged at my house, my dog was let out by a child with a dead collar on. My dog got loose and the collar slipped off. I contacted Halo and they have no backup GPS in case of this situation. This is a serious flaw, in my opinion. We've now spent about a grand in a collar and services, just to have to drop another 600 on a new collar. We haven't done it yet, in hopes that we will find the collar before the falling leaves get too thick. We just don't know if it's worth it to get another, when chances are high it will fall off again and my dog's life will be at risk. It may just be better to run the old wire system again, at least the collar it comes with stays on.

It was great being able to see the person that is helping you. Tech support was the best you could ever get.

No consistency in range. The boundary would change, and my dog became confused. I read reviews about this, but thought maybe the halo 3 would have some of the problems fixed, unfortunately, not the case. The collar also would not hold more than an 8 hour charge. Company claims a money back guarantee, but they charged me $116 on returned products that did not work.

The tech associate provided courteous service. However, I am very concerned w/quality of the Halo collar. I have received two collars which have experienced charging & LED issues. Now will receive collar #3. At this point, if this collar doesn’t function as described, I will request a full refund.
