Battery lasts all day now. Really keeps the dog in yard without any kind of physical fence. Pretty accurate about 98% of the time.

I am a first time dog owner who has wanted a dog for a long long time. Covid offered that opportunity and the family took it. I did a ton of research about training dogs (thank you Monks of New Skete!). I didn't want to put an electric fence in, especially when I was seeing options online that offered more flexibility. I tried a couple of collars with terrible results (he bolted down the street a couple times) before I got the Halo Collar. I wish I had understood the importance of the training approach that Halo advocates. By training the dog in the house first, you can be confident the dog's not going to take off, free you to concentrate on the training, learn right along with your pup-pup, and gain confidence in the tool (and yourself). Once we moved outside, we had a couple of rough patches where he was getting shocked all the time, but the Halo app has reports that shows you how often it's happening. Over the course of the next few weeks, that trended down, and then became quite minimal. My dog now generally responds to the first warning (just a beep) and stops and turns right around. And what's great, is that he does that every time - even when we go somewhere new and set up a fence in a place he's not familiar with. My pup is a very active breed. Giving him the freedom to run, play, chase the ball - its made him calmer and brought us closer together. I had a problem with the collar, and Halo warranted it. That process was smooth and amazing. Customer service has been great. I really can't say enough about the collar and the people who support it.

This is the best system I’ve ever had. I love that I can take it anywhere so my 2 Australian Shepherds, Sadie and Ivy, stay safe. Training was so easy. I didn’t even have to train my second Aussie, Ivy. She learned from Sadie’s collar. So when I got Ivy her collar she knew what the sounds meant.

Very very happy with these collars. A little pricey but not compared to their competitor. I was a little concerned about the GPS response time after reading all the reviews on their early collars but looks like they have fixed that on the latest version. Quick seamless response and the dogs learned fast after a day or two of training. One feature that is not that useful for me is the on-the-fly feedback. Works great if your sitting on the deck watching them, but not very practical on walks/hikes because of cell response time, e.g. they will get into trouble way before you can get your phone to connect with them. I just use a $20 radio device for that. Lots of implements but worth it for peace of mind. I live on 3 acres in a rural mountain area with lots of critters out there that they can get into trouble with so these collars are a life-saver (litterly for them).

Terrible design. Not accurate and would shock my dog in the house saying she was in the neighbors yard. I returned it 6 weeks ago and still haven’t gotten my reimbursement. You can’t talk to anything on the phone after you cancel the subscription, they cut you off from support. Con-artists

I really like my experience with halo. That's help me very well with my dog. The signal on the collar could be a little bit stronger. Maybe it's increasing and I don't know.
