Very well set up and not very expensive for all that you get.

They tell you 20 hours of battery life but it gets 6 hours. They pretend their GPS is state-of-art but the collar is constantly saying "fence feedback paused - resumes when GPS improves." This collar isn't worth $100 let alone $700.

We have halo collars for both of our dogs - we live in a rural mountainous area and the halos have been key for their safety and our peace of mind! Our first collar's warranty expired and shortly after, the collar stopped working. There was no damage to it - our dog hasn't worn it swimming, it hasn't been chewed on, and is showing no signs of wear other than cosmetically. I called Halo support and was told my only option was to buy a replacement collar for between $400 and $500 dollars. Having already spent $1400 (2 $700 collars) and a monthly subscription fee, being offered a $200 "discount" on a product that should still be working in the first place is completely unacceptable. We have absolutely loved our Halo collars but are super disappointed in the longevity of the product. I do not recommend this company or this product at all.

The collars worked decent at first, then one of my original collars wasn’t working that great so we opted to upgrade for an additional $130 to see if it was better. When you upgrade a collar they say keep the old one but return the collar strap/accessories so we did, they proceed to deactivate the old one making it useless. A month after trying to upgraded one along with the original our dogs were still escaping the yard and had got used to the feedback, so I proceeded to return the collars. Fast forward to now and I only received my money for the first collar around $500 and the upgraded collar amount of $130 not the original purchase price. Had they informed me I would not be getting a full refund I would have never returned the collar. So now I have no collars and I’m out $500+ and the cost of the monthly subscription. The collars do not work well at all on a medium size to large size dog. Biggest mistake I made was buying these collars!!!

Joshua was a huge help. The collars and fences are still not 100%, but it’s working a little better and I understand how they work much more.

This product is worthless. No documentation is provided, and the only way to figure it out is to watch an endless series of absolutely horrible videos. These videos are INCREDIBLY slow and tedious, to the pint of being unwatchable. They take 15 minutes to give you information that could be delivered in 20 seconds - or better yet, on half a page of text. It's as if they are targeting 3-year-olds with this junk, not adult humans whose time has value. Everyone in my family gave up after the first few attempts at sitting through this nonsense, and now we have 2 very expensive collars that turned out to be a complete waste of money.

The latest updates are exactly what was needed to make the collar function as it should. Particularly the real time tracking of the collar.
