Beware of this Company they will promise some things to you like a week payment before you receive your funds and but on the next day they deducted your first payment and if you are on late payment the agent will call you will threaten you especially the green box capital.. never fall for this high interest rate and hidden charges.

I would STRONGLY encourage small business owners to STAY AWAY from these people , they charge a 4% fee of the amount of the loan to start with , then if your loan is over $100K, they require you to provide your latest tax return , THEN claim that they need to send IRS Form 8821 to verify your the business owner and to verify that the tax return you sent them is valid and you didn't send them a fraudulent tax return - This is where BEWARE, they send you IRS Form 8821 from a third party company Tax Guard- READ WHAT YOU ARE GIVING ACCESS TO !!!! they tried to be sneaky and obtain 10 years of tax records, when we were only told they needed to verify ownership and the tax returns they requested , when they were called out about it , they claimed if the form was changed / altered the IRS would reject it - Of course this is a pure lie , after they knew we had in house legal counsel who actually called the IRS about Form 8821, then they changed the form to just asking for access to the last 3 years (still not what they had told us to begin with) , so we signed that and now today we are told it wasn't the IRS who rejected the form , it was THEIR CLOSING TEAM, so many lies and shady business practices from this place , I agree with a lot of the other 1-star reviews, they only look at you as a profit margin and that is it , if your not careful about reading what they send you , you will get screwed over NEVER ACCEPT something that is different then what a loan company tells you they need, that's the first sign they are shady and to STAY AWAY - FYI IF YOU LEAVE GREENBOX A REVIEW OTHER THEN THE ONE THEY WANT YOU TO LEAVE - THEY WILL REFUSE TO FUND YOUR LOAN - SO I WOULD BE VERY SUSPICIOUS OF ANY 5 STAR REVIEWS AS GOOD CHANCE THEY ARE FALSE !!!!!!!!

To address your comments; a setup fee and tax return are common components with many lenders in our space when funding reaches a certain threshold. We provide this information upfront to business owners who apply with us directly, and partners, to avoid wasted time in applying for a product that may not be a good fit for their business needs. Regarding the 8821 form, the default form requests 10 years of history. It was following your inquiry when our team member reached out to inquire if we can revise the form, to service you the best we can. There was no malintent, but rather a service-oriented Greenbox Capital representative communicating the standard format of the 8821 form provided by Tax Guard. Tax Guard is an entity separate from Greenbox Capital. Per their terms, Tax Guard will reject altered forms that do not meet their specifications, which you experienced firsthand. We understand each business is unique and how it is important that business owners clearly understand our process to determine if it’s aligned with their needs. Unfortunately, when working with 3rd parties, some communications can fall through the cracks. We recommend before applying for financing through a third party requesting the lender’s name and reach out directly to ensure you have all the necessary information needed to make an informed decision. At Greenbox Capital, we believe it is important to conduct business where there is mutual alignment. Unfortunately, in this case, there was not. Per our policy, when funding is not yet final, we retain the right to rescind an offer based on a variety of factors that can influence a funding decision. You won’t find out until AFTER you receive the funds and see a withdrawal for $1000 from green box capital. Finance rates are 35% for me. The contract is so small and hidden in the website when you go to sign it so it makes it almost impossible to read.

I have a loan with GreenBox and the loan repayments are scheduled to be taken out on Friday and they debt any day the want and it affects my accounts and my business. Very disappointing. I’ve called several times to get this resolved and yet nothing. They keep assuring me that this will be resolved and yet this keeps happening. I just wish I never took the loan.

Beyond the part that the hide secret fees and have very shady business practices they treat customers like absolute trash, I was looking for a better word but honestly this is the best I could find. They talk down on you, talk over you, won’t let you finish a simple sentence. Let’s keep it very clear, a loan is not free money, we pay for it from service fees to the interest so the very minimum to ask for is to be treated with respect, to be kind to and have understanding on the other side. I wasn’t treated so poorly in my life by someone whom I pay to! An agent name Matt was working with us and didn’t have a single will of help, I could feel all he wants was for me to hang up and let him be. We were introduced to them by an agent who used to work for them named tryan who disappeared into this air she is the one who suggested we take a loan from another company and got us into bad blood with them in the first place (shouldn’t she know the policies?) Please I beg you if you are considering them look the other way, find another solution, there are other companies out there that will treat you nice and have humans with compassion and hearts on the other side of the phone. All and more so they are asking for full access to our bank account only for us to make a payment, we do want to pay but we don’t feel comfortable giving them user name and password especially after they charged us $ 2000 fee last time they had access to the account for taking on more capital, we offered to pay with debit or even personal go to the bank and deposit straight to the account but NO miss Tia from collections after talking to us like we are not human beings, only wants full access to the account and will not let my husband (the account holder) finish a single sentence. He asked her for a copy of the contract twice and she did not provide. Please I beg you, stay away, work harder and find a nicer company, even pay higher interest but have a beating heart to talk to, it will be 100% worth it.
