GreatFurnitureDealReviews of greatfurnituredeal.com

Buyer beware. Before ordering the item from this company I was told if it didn’t work with my system, I would be able to return for a full refund (as I had concerns since the description on the website wasn’t clear and the photos didn’t show all areas of product). Upon reviewing the item, it unfortunately didn’t work with my system. I called to see if they had any other options but they did not have any other options that would work with my system. When I called to request the refund I was told I could receive, I was essentially called a liar and told that they would never tell a customer that they would get a refund. The individual I spoke to was extremely rude and refused to allow me to speak to anyone else who could potentially assist in this issue. The terms and conditions are also not clear and feel very discriminatory. I have now had to initiate a chargeback on my credit card. This company does not have good business practices and I would never buy from them again nor would I recommend this company. They do not care about customer service. I never write reviews but felt I had to leave one with such poor and abysmal customer service service and policies that they use and don’t use as they see fit.

I needed a part for an adjustable base. I was not able to find the part I needed. I contacted GreatFurnitureDeal who suggested I order a part that they had in stock, but that had a different part number than the one being replaced saying, “If it doesn’t work you can return it.” I ordered the part and was charged an “optional”shipping fee. I could not figure out how to eliminate the “optional” shipping fee. The part did not work. I contacted GreatFurnitureDeals about returning it. A customer service person instructed me to return the part. I paid postage to receive the part and to return the part. I was totally surprised when a restocking fee amounting to over $50 was deducted from my refund. At no time was this restocking fee mentioned to me. I felt that I was treated dishonestly. Before purchasing the part, I was told that I could simply return the part if it didn’t work. No mention of a restocking fee was mentioned. Before returning the part, the customer service person told me to send it back, postage prepaid. Here is the text message I received from GreatFurnitureDeals concerning the return, “You can ship it back to us at 12041 S Redwood Rd, Riverton, UT 84065. Please include your name or order number in the box. We'll process your return once we receive it.” I contacted GreatFurnitureDeals about the restocking fee. They refused to anything about it. In my opinion, GreatFurnitureDeals is a scam. They are overtly dishonest. I would recommend that a person avoid doing business with them as they will be burned.

They were the only company to have what I needed and i had it within 4 days of ordering it. I would definitely recommend them.

Wish I had known about trust pilot before ever dealing with this crooked company! Bought a chair, took 2 months to deliver it, it was defective and they wouldn't refund my money so I had to ship the defective merchandise back and pay for it myself! Crappy customer "service", insist on doing business by text, RMA return address was some residence!!! Shady!! Buyer beware this company

I wanted to return a wrong motor. They want me to pay shipping both ways and also 30% restocking fee? That almost 1/2 the cost of the motor? Is this place living in the dark ages? no on get a restocking fee anymore. if you try you'll be out of business soon. I the first out. They should look at a company called Amazon.... I will sure buy from them next time... always read the fine print with off brand store like this one.

they offer for you to chat with an agent and he helped me troubleshoot the issues with my La-Z-Boy chair. After asking more than once, if I could return the item, I decided to purchase a remote. The remote came, and it still has not fixed my problem, now I am told I have to pay for shipping and there is a restocking fee. The agent that helped me never told me about a restocking fee. I even offered to pay the return shipping, but ask them to waive the restocking because I didn’t use the product and I made it clear at the beginning I wasn’t sure if this was the issue and the salesman never mentioned a restocking fee. They have zero customer service in Our unwilling to help me. I would never use them again.

I found a pair of power recliners listed on their website for $1393.20 and put it in the cart. A higher price showed up so I contacted customer service online and was contacted via text message. They said those were out of stock. (Why, then, did they show up in my cart at a higher price?) Then I found another page on their website with the exact same recliner pair - the only difference was the stock number - for $2,113.20. I made an offer via the web page and received no reply. I asked them to explain the difference. They could not, said that was the only pair like that available and sent me a link. The price was then adjusted to $2,909.40. This place is all about bait and switch. Do not trust them! And they only show good reviews on their website - look around and go elsewhere.

The motor i was buying from them took over a month to come in...I tried to cancel but it had already been shipped-when I asked them to waive the 30% restocking fee I was told they would only do it in the form of a credit on my next order...normally that would be OK but in this case their products are already 30% plus overpriced i only order from them if I cant find it anywhere else in the world! I asked for a cash credit they told me NO - I also asked to speak to her (Karrie) boss and was told her boss did not take phone calls or emails. I find that troubling having owned a business for over 40 years. Her attitude was very stuck up (she had an answer for everything) which leads me to believe she gets asked about their policy on 30% RESTOCKING FEES ALOT! Needless to say I won't be ordering from them again unless they are the only one in the world with access to the part....Angelo
