WARNING! DO NOT PAY $150 for FREE FORMS. I have reported GovSwift for what I believe is deceptive advertising and the use of a website design and user flow that closely mimics an official government service. The presentation of the site—including its layout, language, and application-style process—created a strong impression that I was interacting with a legitimate government agency or an official government portal. Based on this design and presentation, I reasonably believed I was submitting payment for an official government service. Only after completing the transaction did I learn that GovSwift is a third-party private company with no affiliation to any government agency. Although a disclosure exists stating they are not a government entity, it was not prominently or clearly understood during the purchase process due to the overall misleading presentation and structure of the website. I believe the overall experience functioned in a way that could reasonably confuse consumers into believing they are interacting with an official government service, which raises serious concerns about deceptive or potentially impersonation-adjacent practices. After discovering this, I promptly requested a refund, which was denied. I also requested basic company contact information, including a phone number and physical address, and was refused, further raising transparency concerns. I have requested an investigation into potential deceptive advertising practices and the use of government-mimicking design elements that may mislead consumers into believing they are dealing with an official government entity.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We have reached out to you multiple times to clarify your experience and to confirm that your order has been fully refunded. For clarity, our service is a third-party application assistance platform and is not affiliated with the government. This is disclosed throughout the website prior to checkout. Our role is to provide guided support, document preparation, and step-by-step instructions to help ensure applications are completed correctly. Government fees are separate and paid directly to the issuing agency. While some customers choose to complete the process on their own, others prefer added guidance and support to ensure everything is completed accurately. We remain available to assist and answer any questions regarding our services.
The customer service is truly wonderful. Geniene was so kind and really worked hard to figure out the best option for me to do my Global Entry interview without having to drive 4 hours.

DO NOT USE THIS WEBSITE.... It is a scam. The site is made to look like a government site, and for a first time applicant for a passport, I believed I was in the right place and the $189 I paid was the application fee. I have since learned that I actually didn't pay for anything. On top of everything else, I now need to file reports with the FTC, CMS, Credit Reporting Agencies, freezing accounts, etc. CRIMINALS!!! 07/17/26 UPDATE RE: RESPONSE: It is very interesting that I did respond to the multiple emails and advised that you had ALL of my information. 1. You had my name, 2. You had my email address, 3. You had my phone number, And 4. You had my credit card information because you billed me $189. I did NOT receive any identifiable information from you... not a receipt, not an order number, nothing. I was able to print out the Passport application, so you most likely have my entire identity sold by now. The application that I printed out was not even the current passport application and could NOT be used. My recommendation for you and your CRIMINAL website: when that site is opened....at the top of the page, in big red letters, it should say, "This is not the government site you think it is. If you are looking for the real passport application, scroll on. However, if you want to donate $189 to some criminals, it's your lucky day." To the consumer reading this review: DO NOT PROVIDE THESE CRIMINALS WITH ANY IDENTIFYING INFORMATION!

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We would like to clarify the circumstances surrounding this matter. After receiving your concerns, our team made multiple attempts to locate an order using the information you provided. Unfortunately, we were unable to find any matching record in our system. We also requested an order number or other proof of purchase so we could investigate further, but that information was never provided. Without a way to verify an order, we were unable to review your case or offer additional assistance. Our company operates as an independent third party document preparation service and is not affiliated with any government agency. This information is clearly disclosed throughout our website before purchase. Our service provides guided application assistance, document review, and detailed submission instructions, and is separate from the government passport application process. If you are able to provide an order reference or other information that allows us to identify your transaction, we would be happy to investigate your concerns further. Our goal is always to review each case thoroughly and assist our customers whenever possible.
