We used Shippo for 8 years and it has come to what appears to be a sad and abrupt ending. FedEx overcharged us by nearly $500 for what should have been a $68 shipment. We opened a "dispute" with Shippo and after 20 days, Shippo could tell us no new information. They refused to send us the itemized invoice, would not let us talk to FedEx ourselves, and ignored requests for proof that they were actually in conversation with FedEx. Our bank advised us to open a dispute as we had zero information on the charge and were not getting any information. Immediately after opening the dispute, Shippo "shadow blocked" our account, ruined our operational shipping flow, and refuses to continue any conversation until the dispute is dropped. We're not going to pay for an illegal charge- I guess we'll have to switch over to Pirate Ship like so many other people here :-/. It's really a shame that Shippo wouldn't just communicate better to resolve this amicably with transparency. 7/31 UPDATE: Shippo reactivated our account, but there is no movement on the dispute. I hope it can be resolved. The invoicing system is severely lacking in shipment details. Sometimes there's just a single line charge with no explanation that doesn't match shipments.

MyShippo Review: My Choice for Multi-Carrier Shipping Software for E-Commerce Businesses MyShippo (Shippo) stands out as an exceptional multi-carrier shipping software, tailored specifically for e-commerce businesses like ours. Offering an impressive array of features and seamless integrations, it simplifies the shipping process, helping businesses find the best rates and enhance their customer service. Here’s an in-depth look at what makes MyShippo a standout choice, alongside a few areas for potential improvement. Features I Love The Most 1. Personal Touch from the CEO One of the standout aspects of MyShippo is the exceptional level of engagement from the CEO, Ms. Laura. It's rare to find a company where the CEO provides prompt, personal replies to user suggestions and questions. This direct line of communication not only demonstrates a commitment to customer satisfaction but also fosters a sense of community and trust among users. 2. Affordable Pricing MyShippo offers affordable pricing plans, making it accessible for businesses of all sizes. The cost-effectiveness of the service ensures that even small e-commerce businesses can benefit from advanced shipping solutions without breaking the bank. 3. Customer Support While their customer support may not be instantaneous, it is uniquely satisfying. The support team goes above and beyond to ensure user satisfaction, even if it means addressing concerns that might be the my own oversight. This level of dedication and patience is rare and highly valued. 4. E-commerce Platform Integration Seamless integration with e-commerce platforms like eBay is a significant advantage. This feature streamlines the shipping process, allowing for effortless management of orders and shipments directly from your existing e-commerce setup. This integration not only saves time but also reduces the likelihood of errors. 5. Customizable Tracking Emails The ability to send customizable tracking emails to customers is a fantastic feature that enhances the professionalism of your business. These emails keep customers informed about their orders and reflect well on your company's commitment to excellent service. 6. Exceptional Customer Service MyShippo’s customer service is a highlight. They consistently go the extra mile to ensure user satisfaction, even when the user might be at fault. This level of dedication ensures that customers feel valued and supported. Areas for Improvement 1. Customizable Email Header Greetings While customizable tracking emails are a great touch, the ability to further personalize email header greeting would enhance this feature. Currently, the default email header may not align perfectly with every business’s branding. Allowing users to fully customize the header greeting would make these communications even more impactful. Conclusion MyShippo is an outstanding multi-carrier shipping software for e-commerce businesses, offering a host of features that streamline the shipping process and enhance customer satisfaction. Personal engagement from the CEO, affordable pricing, seamless e-commerce integration, and the ability to send customizable tracking emails make it a top choice for our business. Their commitment to exceptional customer service and user satisfaction truly sets MyShippo apart from the competition, making it an excellent choice for e-commerce businesses seeking reliable and user-friendly shipping solutions.

Well we used Shippo all the time. Now they max out the free plan at 30 labels a month. I will discontinued using the platform and go with other great options.

Bought a shipping label, printer couldn’t print it out in a 6x4. I requested a refund and it’s still pending. It’s now been 10 days without any word about it.

Received an email from Shippo notifying me (and all their customers) that there would be a new 25% deductible on shipping insurance claims. So, If I insure something for $500 and pay for $500 coverage, and if my shipment was to get lost, I would only receive $375. What a ripoff. If I want $500 coverage, I shouldn't have to buy $666.66 worth of insurance to get $500 in actual coverage. Will never use them again.

Hi David, Thanks for leaving us a review. We’re really sorry to hear about your discontent with our new insurance terms. We understand that a 25% deductible for certain items may seem significant. This policy, however, helps us keep the program sustainable for all Shippo users so we can continue providing our merchants with the best shipping insurance that's comprehensive, easy, and affordable. For clarity, for domestic shipments, insurance for your package only costs 1.25% of your order's total value. For international shipments, insurance costs 1.5% of your order's total value. To put it into perspective, if your order is valued at $500, you would only pay $6.25 or $7.50 to insure your package. In the event that your package is lost, damaged, or stolen and you have an approved claim for the full value of your item, you would receive a reimbursement of $375, in addition to the value of your shipping label. If you have any questions around this, please feel free to reach out to [email protected] and we'd be more than happy to help. Thanks, Shippo Support

Hi Toni, Thanks for leaving us a review. We understand how frustrating unexpected surcharges can be, and want to assure you that we’re here to help. It’s important to note that surcharges are passed directly from the carrier and are out of Shippo’s control. Carriers have highly calibrated technology in place to weigh, measure, and audit shipments as they travel through the carrier’s system. These systems detect a multitude of dimensions, including if a package is overweight, irregular in size, and/or bulging in any way. These machines are extremely accurate. We’re more than happy to look into your package and see what happened here. Unfortunately, we weren't able to locate your account information based on your review name. To assist you further, please feel free to reach out to us at [email protected]. Thanks, Shippo Support
